What I have found works best is to prioritize building a sequence first, then start blocking at the later stages of the game. Play near the center of the board as your cards allow. Try to make multipurpose plays where new opportunities for building sequences open up, while also blocking. Remember this is essentially a *race* to build a sequence first. You are solving it incorrectly. Pemdas and bomdas state to do multiplication and division in the same step as they appear in the equation left to right. The same thing goes with addition and subtraction.

@saeedalnagar. I can see ÷3 and ÷2. In my humble opinion both 3 and 2 must be relegated to denominator and ÷ to × (48×4)/(3×2)=(48×4)/6= 32. Thanks for your comment
