Thank you! This is my favourite booster, too! I have 3 compressors in my board, but no one can change my groove like RC Bass Booster. It makes things definitely more articulate and gives a bit of harmonics and a slightly dirty mids. My bass is Sadowsky Metroline JJ Ash 4, i use GK Flea’s sig amplification/cab.

Funny how I myself am trying to mix elements of both styles un my playing: the freeflowing bendy stuff and the George Benson type of approach.

I would like to translate what Shinji said about Allen in the interview starting around 6:20... Allen, Hope you see this. Looking at how Allen plays, I could not take my eyes away from him! Umm, I cannot just believe it… He is awesome and unbelievable! I wondered if I should be on the same stage where Allen plays.. and wondered what I should play..! but when I stepped onto the stage, he accepted me very well (like… he made the door wide open…). He truly is a wonderful player… and “GOOD PERSON” *w/ smile. RIP Shinji-san

i definitely respect paul Jackson, great job,but I myself would never say that that tim pierce stayed within his limits,he has played on more number one hits than paul Jackson, and this very solo, one of the best I have ever heard from tim,is a solo that is far outside the limits of paul Jackson.now I am a huge tim pierce fan,hes not in the top 5 session guitarist for being a player with limits,i wish people would think about these comments before they said them.i thin k sometimes people comment like they do because their ears are only educated with very little musical understanding, everyone is aloud their own opinions.

I worked on all of Ross' guitars from 1983 until his passing in 2013. This guitar is a 1985 or 1986 Fender 62 reissue that he purchased used in 1987. After he purchased it, I added a fingerboard extension and 22nd fret. At some point we added a humbucker in the bridge position. After Ross ditched the humbucker and went back to 3 Strat pickups, we used an aftermarket pickguard with a slightly different screw pattern. At the time this video was made, I believe he either had Fralin or Kinman pickups in the guitar. At various times Ross used Fender, EMG, Seymour Duncan, Fralin and Kinman pickups in this guitar. He also used String Saver saddles and for a time had Sperzel tuners installed. There is a battery compartment in the back of the guitar that dates back to the EMG installation. Ross was a brilliant musician and a wonderful human being. He is greatly missed.....

Pumazpawz I know this sounds strange, but I had no idea Ross has left us years ago. I followed him years back, and he inspired me to play funk. He was amazing, and right now I feel really sad realizing that he is no longer here :-( I imagine you had a wonderful time with him.
