I'll never forget my father who is now 81 - said during the transition that once that accord was signed - there was true hope in a few years for at least a framework for a Volkstaat. After 2006 he simply gave up and also stopped voting. He only ever voted (like me) for the VF / VF+ (though I managed to get him to vote for the VF+ one more time now in 2024 but he really just did it for "semantics" and likely to satisfy me ) Regarding Tax and REsponsible majority rule: Guess who pushed for it right at the death of Rhodesia but the black nationalists, the British government and the rest of the west told him to go shove it... Ian Smith! He said only people irrelevant of race who have their roots entrenched in the country ie. those that contribute to the country should have the right to vote. (contributions ie. tax payers, a certain level of education etc.). Well - if Ian Smith got his way there - Rhodesia/Zimbabwe would be flourishing today no doubts......

Makes me sick. A minority as it is in the country. Will NEVER vote again that is for sure. (Remember the DA are corrupted as well). All these politicians ..... they just want money. We need a new strategy and one of them is what the "Free Market Foundation" is campaigning for. I don't think the FF is a option anymore because they lost a great deal of support in the past general election. The FF leadership are by no means able to take the party forward and I think it will disappear into the bigger political landscape anyway.
