Why the lithium grease. That's a sealed bearing with lube inside. Having it on the outside race won't do anything

Idk how heavy that shaft was that you were lifting with that strap but that is not the way to use it. If anything, just choke it. it's not that you used the eye like that but the extreme angle they were at. Over 60° and you've significantly reduced the capacity
