Can a Logitech 4k Pro Magnetic Base for Apple work in a PC running windows 10?
Yes it does. Works fine in Zoom, just need a USB-C adapter if your PC doesn't have the port.

Thank you for the video. I have a question: If I wanted to use this webcam with my laptop (Razer Blade Pro 17), which is made out of aluminum so the magnet won't stick to it, is the base good enough to hold the webcam still & stable?

lol, I thought I was the only one who did that. It works perfectly on my PC, the only issue I have is, the device is not recognized on the Logitech hub app for me to adjust the settings. Anyone know how to get the device recognized? All the troubleshooting videos I watched did not help.

I have the same webcam its good, the picture quality is excellent. The way i sorted the mount on my monitor was to stick on two magnetic plates to the rear and it sticks perfectly.
Hey, do you know if the Windows version of the Logitech camera software has an auto rotation setting? I use this camera on my Dell monitor, which is attached to my MacBook Pro. This camera has an auto rotation setting for when using the monitor in a vertical orientation, but I’m not sure if the auto rotation only works with the Apple Pro XDR display. The Pro XDR display auto-rotates so I’m not sure if the camera has its gyro or accelerometer or if it uses the XDR’s gyro/accelerometer?!? I can’t get my camera image to auto-rotate.

Did you test if the webcam works with the Logitech 4k Pro Webcam Windows 10 software?
This webcam is recognized in Windows. I have used it with Skype and Webex for video conferencing. However, it is not recognized by Logitech Capture App. So, you can't manipulate white balance, frame rate, etc. So, I suggest do not try to use it in Windows. I am trying to sell mine now.

you can unscrew the magnetic mount
Yes, I took my magnet off since I’m using it on my Dell monitor. And it does have the female tripod screw. I attached the camera to my monitor with the 3M Command Velcro thing. It holds good when I adjust the camera angle and when my monitor is vertical.

THANK YOU! I bought this webcam thinking the magnetic aspect was really cool and didn’t realize it was only for Apple monitors... I have a acer monitor and started panicking when I looked at some unboxing videos. Just ordered the adapter you mentioned. Great video.

@@jamesleng10 the adapter works but my capture would flash green for a frame every minute or so... then I realized my computer already had the correct adapter and I didn't need the type C adapter. When i stopped using it I noticed the green flashes stopped.
