Hey @jamesloney48. The PDF settings UI had a refresh when Gravity Forms 2.5 was first released, but all the same Core Booster features and settings are still available and simple to use.

It's not a feature that's currently built into Gravity PDF, but, depending on the number of entries, it could be done with a custom PDF template and the GFAPI.

If you mean editing the actual GV PDF template code, you'll need to first copy the associated template(s) to the PDF Working Directory (docs.gravitypdf.com/v6/extensions/pdf-for-gravityview-add-on#template-overrides). You can then safely edit the copied template without it getting overridden during updates. We're happy to provide the tools developers need to make modifications like this, but it isn't something we provide end-user support for, and why there aren't any video tutorials.

Use Gravity Forms drag and drop column feature in the form editor and any Core PDF will automatically replicate this layout. docs.gravitypdf.com/v6/users/columns

Hi Luis. If your browser has a built-in PDF view that hasn't been disabled, you can adjust the [gravitypdf] shortcode "type" attribute to "view" and the document will be shown in the browser. If the browser doesn't have a built-in PDF viewer, or it has been disabled, the PDF will be downloaded.

Unfortunately not. There is quite a bit of custom development for this project that is specific to the form and software choices made. Because of that we felt that writing a tutorial about the code as-is wasn't going to have mass-appeal. In the future we'd like to give users the tools they need to build much of this functionality without writing any code. We have lots of cool stuff in the works for 2023 that may make this build easier. Stay tuned 👍

Hi there, If using a Core template for Gravity PDF, you can add the class "aligncenter" to the Custom CSS Class field setting (docs.gravityforms.com/common-field-settings/#h-custom-css-class) in the Gravity Forms editor. That should automatically center-align that specific field in the PDF.

@@ogtantv In the Form Editor, click on the specific field you want to center-align. On the right side, under the Appearance tab, input "aligncenter" into the Custom CSS Class field.

In the Form Editor (docs.gravityforms.com/form-editor/) you would first select the field. In the sidebar, open the Appearance panel and look for the setting "Custom CSS Class". It is here you would add the class "aligncenter".

Yes. You would build a form with Gravity Forms (www.gravityforms.com/) to capture the information for the PDF. A user would then submit this form. Gravity PDF could then be used to generate a PDF that included this information. A custom template should be created, so the PDF has the desired look and feel (docs.gravitypdf.com/v6/developers/start-customising).

There is nothing preventing you from manually adding a string above or below the barcode tag in the PDF 👍

@@srvissir That's because you've hardcoded the "code". You'd need to add a merge tag to the code attribute so the barcode is dynamic. Be aware that the merge tag value would need to be in the format the barcode expects, otherwise it won't work.

There are many barcode types that can be used in Gravity PDF which only allow numbers; it all depends on the barcode specification for which types do or do not allow numbers only. Refer to all supported types in the mPDF documentation mpdf.github.io/reference/html-control-tags/barcode.html and then Google info about the various types to learn more.

@@GravityPDF I used, it doesn't change to random numbers. I used it for the form. After registering and downloading the PDF, it shows that the number does not change.

Sounds like you want to add a QR code to your PDF with a direct link to the entry in your WordPress admin area. Gravity PDF has QR code support available out of the box, so it would be a matter of adding the appropriate HTML tag and build the URL to your entry with the help of the {entry_id} merge tag. docs.gravitypdf.com/v6/developers/pdf-features/barcodes

Not at this time, no. Your best bet would be to use the Text Confirmation method and write a little bit of JavaScript to automatically trigger a click event on the PDF link.

Not with Gravity PDF, no. You can modify this code snippet from Gravity Forms to attach any files to your Notification emails though docs.gravityforms.com/gform_notification/#h-10-attach-specific-file

Is the E-Book generated by Gravity PDF? Or is it a static document you want to send after someone completes your form? If it's generated by Gravity PDF, ensure the Notification PDF setting (docs.gravitypdf.com/v6/users/setup-pdf#notifications) is correctly configured for a Gravity Forms Notification that'll be sent to the end user. If it's a static E-Book file then you don't need to use Gravity PDF at all. The gform_notification hook is how you would do this: docs.gravityforms.com/gform_notification/#h-10-attach-specific-file

You can use GravityView for that. Gravity PDF integrates seamlessly with it so PDFs can be downloaded.

The PDF engine we use has poor widow and orphan support and unfortunately manual page breaks are the only reliable way to control the breaks.

Sorry, we don't currently have this deep an integration with the WooCommerce Gravity Forms add-on. The only way to do it is exactly how you've got it setup now, with Gravity Forms Notifications to be sent separately with the PDF download link added directly to it.

Hey there! Yes it's possible to use certain field data from Gravity Forms as a watermark on the PDF. You need to have the Watermark add-on → t.ly/CSWP for this to be able to select the form field you want to use as a Text Watermark.
