Those are not positive and negative wires. They're both 120 Volt lines which total 240 volts AC. There's also a neutral and a chassis ground wire, which gives you 4 wires per each cord. You're dealing with AC voltage, not DC, so there's no "positive" and "negative" line. Also, that whistle tune is extremely annoying.

I'm sorry but that's not positive (red) and negative (Black). They are both phase conductors and the white is neutral. 230 is a two phase (red and black are both "hot") connection even if there's no white.

If I swap the red wire and place it on the right and the black on the left, will that cause any problems? Your illustrations shows the red on the left and the black on the right. I have no electrical experience but the instructions that came with my chord said the red should go on the right. I have the feeling either way is ok, ut thought I better ask you. Help I wired everything the same but it wouldnt turn on it wasn't till I put the white wire where the green wire is and everything worked should I be concerned?

Great video. In some iphone 6s, when it is in sleep mode, the camera app appears in the Locked Screen after the Home button is pressed. The camera can then be accessed. But when my iphone 6s is in sleep mode, the camera is not showing up in the Locked Screen after the Home button is pressed. I have to press the Home button again to get out of the Locked Screen and see all the apps including the Camera. I cant figure out a way to put it in the Locked Screen so that I can access the camera in the Locked Screen. Also, do i have to go to the Settings app every time i have to change the camera settings. Pls help. Thanks

Is hitting the back of the dryer drum with your wires okay? I was about to hook up my new cord but the wires hit the back of the drum area and I know with the heat coming from nearby it may heat those wires.

The small white or the green with the yellow stripe is the connection/jumper between the center neutral lug and the frame on 3 wire cords only. With a four wire cable you must not use that connection so the wire is put under the neutral screw to hold it out of the way. It is just connected to itself inside the unit. All other green wires connect to the metal cabinet frame.
