    Did any of you all commenting read the description? This was shot during the advance storm in front of the hurricane the day before. They wisely stayed out of the water when all of the debris came through the next day.

We kayaked in the precursor rain the day before Helene hit WNC.

      At the dam where the lake is the normal section hit 100 k but that’s still a crazy amount

      That fact is incorrect. Noli hit a max of 160-180k CFS in the flood, but mind you, flood stage for the noli is normally 20k
