Okay, before anyone snaps: Yes, I know I played the song WAY too fast! Lately, I've been working on using a more moderate tempo while continuing to think about variation in dynamics and such. The original key of this piece was, of course, G Major, but at the time of this video, I had been using this Conklin 7-string only for a few days, so I wanted to show off the peak of its range by augmentin...

Thanks for posting this!
Lovely playing, top class musicianship.
Wow very nice man!
Great Job!
Did you make it into the school?
SICK!
How do you set up your bass...I mean high or low action??.....straight neck??..really brilliant !
niceeeee! supplementary to performing in videos to the internet, have you jam too at bars some times?? it would be entertaining for you making a music-project side by side fellow artists. you could try to make use of Bandhub to help you
Brilliant!!!!!!!!!
Great man. I like the synth improvs too!
NICE!!
Did you know that are doing a documentary of the awesome Jaco? Must be a diamond...
Awesome man, the line is very similar,is a very good job!!.Congratulations!!!Jaco Lives Forever in our Hearts!!!Regards from a FAN from Spain!!

Jack Ankenbruck: Drums Leland Nelson: Bass Peter Klophenstein: Keys Travis Lyons: Guitar
By the way..I know the bassist in that video is Jaco himself.Thought I;d better clarify.Just meant that the video is well worth a watch.
Really nice playing. Have you checked out the live video clip of Joni Mitchell doing this at some festival that looks like it was in the 90's? The Bass guitarist is worth watching. It's on iTunes.
nice band you guys keep it up
@phishphan111 Andy! What up cuz? Thanks for watching man, and yeah, Christmas break, come to my place. Your guitar, my bass, maybe the old man on bass, too. It'll be sweet! :)
@pastokill Thanks for the compliment! Haha I don't use tabs but if you want them I recommend you ask Michael van Polen, since it's his song. He has a UA-cam channel called uzzz. Thanks Leland
You sound great man, keep it up. Nice harmonics by the way. This is cousin Andrew, lets jam in December when I'm there. Just a great groovy sound man!
I wish I could play like Granny, she taught me Tea for Two one day lol
Great!!! Please another version but play it on the CD!! Thank you
@da1698 Thanks so much man. I really appreciate it when people comment on my timing. I guess that's what I should try to improve, it's most important and I get lucky sometimes at gigs when I forget to cut off or jump back in on timing at the end of a solo or after a lil lick. Haha, I feel like I'm the only one that notices those mistakes. At any rate, thanks for watching!
@pchelpdave Acoustic 360. It's in the fingers too though :) So I heard you say in you vid that you aren't a slapper, but I was wondering if you listen to any of the fingerstyle stuff that guys like Marcus and Victor play. Once again thanks for watching! :)
@JustyStoky Hey man thanks for the feedback! My rig is an old Roland Cube 60. Hopefully I'll be in the run for a new amp sometime soon cuz I think it's gonna bust haha. Btw nice fretless vid! I liked how you explained how Jaco influenced your playing style. I can definitely relate to that! I know quite a bit of Jaco's material, from Portrait to Teen Town to Liberty City. I have my Squier EQ'd about the same as his '62 Jazz, but like alot of us fretless cats, we don't have the magic of the
This is a beautiful video with a beautiful story to go behind it :)
Damn good.
@uzzz Thanks so much man! I'm glad to know that I gotta fan halfway around the globe! :)
Wow - this dude is great!
Hey pchelpdave !! Great job on my song man :) I'm Honored !! You've got my approval ! Cheers, Michael
