Test 😅😅😅😅 try econoline 4x4
6-Cylinders...? Is this for US? In Europe it's only 2,0L engine...
where in monticello?

Feel like I was listening to a hearing test with the tones.
Looks like a sick place!
Jumps everywhere!
Would like to have seen this with a 2500 AWD , not a dually 3500. Also, this tells me little about its overall capabilities. One person commented on a RWD with a locker.... I think that would have sailed through this as well...especially if lifted.
Straight edge kill em all bad song...
TBH, a RWD van with rear lockers would have sailed through this 😜
Ideally, you'd put the van in 4WD before the tough sections. Also, disengaging "ESP" (which is actually ASR) makes a world of difference. Doing both of those you would have cruised by with the V6 too. Although as a Sprinter owner, the transfer case on this thing is a nightmare, I think it's a good thing they finally did away with it
Why would they put a 4 cylinder in a vehicle with a gross weight of 11k? That may be ok for an Amazon van, but RV owners needs something a little more durable. I hope they stick with a 6 cylinder for the chassis cabs.
Is mpg better?
Maybe, but that 4 cylinder isn't going to last as long.
@@johnbogert7306 I agree two turbos equals lots of heat.
Do you still have to unplug the purple wire to make all the radio speakers work? Does the cruise control still randomly turn off cause it feels like it? Does the cross wind assist still hammer on the brakes without any warning? Do you have to spend thousands of dollars to make the chassis be more stable as it goes down the road? Does the new engine come with an oil dipstick? Does the MBUX still inaccurately display the speed signs on the Navigation screen and center dash display? Is the Navigation software still crappy? Does the MBUX still randomly blurt out "what can I do for you" while you're having a conversation with other people in the vehicle? I feel that the Sprinters are designed by Mercedes Benz B team of designers... and the AMG line gets all the best A team of designers. If AMG owners had to put up with a shitty product like a Sprinter, MB would have zero sales. Do you answer anybody's questions on here...?
Well no! But hey you get a 4 cylinder with half the life expectancy LOL.
Can’t believe anyone would drink that nasty stuff :(
Why do some people believe 4 wheel drive is better than all-wheel drive for the dirt? I don't get it.
Cause AWD drive systems will more than likely overheat doing anything hard. AWD is meant for roads not off road. Go take a 11k lbs AWD sprinter off road and see how fast you burn it up.
I'm still amused at how switching to 4x4 is too difficult? I always do this before riding on any dirt roads, I dont have to roll forward (2022 model). Jeeps are pretty much the same as you stop, switch to N, shift to 4x4 and then go. Either way I'm happy to see MB investing in the platform.
My 2003 super duty you just turn the switch to 4x4 anytime. You only need to do the neutral thing for 4 low.
Where was the location, is MB in US?
A course we built in Charleston SC near the old power house
I would have like to see them climb something steep
Exactly... That's where the 4x4 one always suffers at
Jl Audio for the win such a underrated sub 👏🏾

Really nice. Surprised by the articulation on both. I have a 2023 AWD on order now to replace my 2016. 2nd on list at dealership. The AWD will be far better for me on the mountain where I live. I need 4x4 to get in or out of my driveway and it is a pain to activate several times a day. Can't wait to just drive like an SUV.
Where were you able to place an order? I keep getting told to wait until June.
you can leave it in 4x4 all day long. it won't hurt the transfer case.
In fact I always keep mine in 4x4 except when going to the highway
@@lordexess it causes no harm?
@@treedeblue not at all. But the consumption is a bit higher
This video is wack
Tryin to show my homeboy and took forever
Nice, but what is different from the 2021 model ( ua-cam.com/video/0bUXgSTAaQ8/v-deo.html )which looks like performed the same.
Performance off road is very close, couple of advantages noticed while driving - AWD vs old 4X4 - no drive line binding for the AWD, AWD automatic engagement key in varying surface conditions, vs 4X2 switch to 4X4 then 4X4 Low selection, lower final drive in 1st for the AWD= more wheel torque, New EPAS steering is buttery smooth, new motor in the AWD '23
👍
Classic record. It will always be a favorite.
Ported or sealed?
Sealed
Thanks
How do they sound? I was thinking about getting 3 13.5jl shallow mounts.. 600rms each.. Are these the same woofers? What do you think about them?
How did they end up sounding
What amp are you using
Raine Bordelon JL 1000w mono to the subs, JL to the rest
What box? How does it fit? Does it stick out or interfere with how the seats operate?
Matt Shimmin custom under the rear seats, looks factory, seats still flip up
Moto139 I have one coming that I ordered. This will be the first box that I've bought pre made. They say it will fit and it has high reviews but I'm also scared that the seats won't sit all the way down or that the woofers will touch the floor. Should be here by Thursday. Fingers crossed.
@@madmatt113944 did you like your box? Where exactly did you buy?
@@Foesvpply I had to make some minor adjustments to fit some JL13TW5V2-2 - JL Audio 13.5" woofers in it. All in all I'm happy I have decent sound and still have the use of my rear seat. But nothing beat the ported box I built for my Kicker L7's. That was great!
that sounds insane awesome job
Are u using the 2ohm or 4ohm, and what amp and how many watts is the amp, and are the two subs wired in series or parallel? Sorry for the technical questions but I am highly interested in these subs for my PRO, and for $600 per sub; a lot of research is in play
Wired in series powered by a JL 1200 mono amp, 2 3ohm subs www.jlaudio.com/13tw5-3-car-audio-tw5-subwoofer-drivers-92181 www.jlaudio.com/hd1200-1-car-audio-hd-amplifiers-98250 Pretty solid set up when space is limited, amps hidden behind the rear seat, box under looks stock
Moto139 excellent!!!! I'm in a tundra crewmax so I have that raised floor under the rear seats so subs will most likely go behind seats and have any to bottom of seat so I can lift seat to direct rear ac vent towards it to help keep it cool during extended use
You'll be happy, I was surprised with how good these low depth subs work, waybetter than I thought they would !
Moto139 so they are running at 6ohms correct?
@@1ttcobra2003 not sure but I think in series they would be at 3
nice and smooth!!!
