Sheila rules!
i love the ending: "excuse me, these are mi seats" haha Thank U for uploading this underrated gem of Under rug swept
❤❤❤❤
Where’s Cedric on bass? Did he quit? I saw him night 1 😔
Cedric's son was graduating from high school and he wanted to be there. Alanis is very understanding regarding family stuff so she got another guy to fill in. Cedric is still in the band.
Very smooth!
So beautiful, so cute!!!
Glad you enjoyed it. For all of my videos of her do a search for Alanis Morissette Rob Orme
@@robertorme06 Sure! Love Her. Cheers from Brazil.
Holmquist has been PE's drum tech and protege for past 20 years or so and has been sitting in for at least half the set for the entire 50th tour. Pray Phil has an optimal recovery from his MI. He is a gamer for sure as during his recovery he is still managing the band. Have loved this band since the 1976, long live KANSAS!!! Thanks for putting these up and it's a great POV to watch Erock Holmquist show off his formidable chops.
Thanks for the inside info Merlin! I first saw them in 1975 when they opened for Blue Oyster Cult. They were an unknown but they completely blew me away. Now I've seen them four times over the years and they always deliver the goods.
The Pinnacle
Thank You, reddawg!
Where was this recorded?
I always put that info in the notes but I understand, you never thought to scroll down. Plaza Theatre, downtown El Paso, TX, 3/17/24.
I see Phil has still got it. I really miss all of you and the west.
Good to see you again podner
Thanks for posting this Rob . A Song for America, highlighting the complexities of Kansas's songwriting skills and musical chops ! 🤟
Glad you enjoyed it Bro!
One of the best!❤
So glad you enjoyed it and I feel fortunate to have captured such a fine version of this tune
That looks like tbe Richmond Hill Seafood Festival
As I noted in UA-cam liner notes, Sonoma Music Festival, Sonoma, CA (northern California)
Love this song very much. Never saw a live version. Greg added a horse sound to it and that together with the southdern admosfere makes it one of my favorite songs. I am from the Nederlands and only have been to the west coast of the States roughly. But the south especially musically atrakes me a lot
I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'm really happy that I had the good sense to have my camera running at this time. In my opinion this is one of the very best versions of These Days that I have heard.
Good job brother man! :) 🤠🎼🎵🎶🎤🎸
The Late Great Greg Allman Sing to the angels..
Thanks Rob! Good old days for sure!
Song works well for a country/rockabilly take.
Always sounds good
Wow, this is amazing! I can’t believe how many people are standing around talking while this legend is on the stage in front of them. What’s wrong with these people?
Yeah I noticed that too
I hear ya brother
Probably too busy drinking pinot and cougar chardonnay's.
I so agree with you. One of the things that pain me at live venues, constantly nattering & then enraptured applause for something they didn't even hear or absorb. A song so deep passed them by.😮
And did he stop and call them out? No.. he was one of my all time favorites. ❤️RIP Gregg Allman. Never forgotten.
p̶r̶o̶m̶o̶s̶m̶
Maybe you can explain what "promosm" with a line through it is supposed to mean?
Got the pipes p!ula derm you at Montreal once nice show 👌 blow out the back door
Rob great job on this one FYI it's "Sleep Walk" arrangement based on Santo & Johnny's 1959 release. Unfortunately it's not Apache, which we did play that night, my favorite version by The Shadows.
Thanks Chris, I will correct the title. Sometimes I'm kinda guessing after listening for 3 hours or more. PS: Your guitar playing on this is nothing short of BEAUTIFUL.
🙌🏻🌈
Awesome!
Hard to believe that 7 years have passed since I attended this show with you. Great times! BTW, that is Al's son stage left, rear, in the black tee.
That was a SPECIAL night Don, so glad you could enjoy it with me.
❤️
Shonna Tucker and Pegi Young nice ladies in that band wow wish I was there.
Spooner Oldham on keyboards! Google him, somewhat of a legend......
"He knows the color of the car I just drove away in"... really expresses the fear, mixed emotions. "Soon I'll grow up, and I won't even fllnch at your name" . Great lyrics in this song (as in most of the songs she writes).
Why does she have her left leg kind of stretched out? Pain in her leg or knee maybe?
She was 7 months pregnant with her third child at the time of this show. I think that would explain why she appears to be in a somewhat awkward sitting position. Look closely you can see the baby bump.
@@robertorme06 I see, thanks. Now that I know that, she does appear obviously pregnant. I guess I thought at first it was simply from gaining weight.
Which Dawg amp are you playing through? Great playing and tone
It's a Super Dawg 5F4 with 2 12" Weber Alnico's in it that are reproductions of Jensen P12N's. Rated about 30-35 watts. It's a great amp. I also have a single 12" Super Dawg 5F4.
Band members? Looks like Al Jardine to Brian's left.
That is correct (Al is wearing a white suit)
Sounds like Scott Bennett’s vibraphone is plugged into the same amp as Brian’s keyboard.

I've now posted everything that I shot that day, two Doobies tunes and two Gregg Allman tunes.
awesome tune! who is the drummer and the guitar player standing next to Patrick?
Don't Start Me Talkin' is a blues tune by Sonny Boy Williamson that was originally released in 1955. The guitar player next to Pat Simmons is Scott Sharrard from Gregg Allman & Friends who also played at this Festival that day. Don't know who the drummer is. So glad you enjoyed the video!
Here's John McFee of the Doobies sitting in on pedal steel guitar with Allman that same day: ua-cam.com/video/0pfauOzhwcI/v-deo.html&ab_channel=RobOrme
Uma ex namorada me escreveu flinch... É horrível quando o sentimento acaba e você sente dó do sofrimento de alguém que tens um carinho especial.
It don't matter what your age....you never lose those Blues...they follow you right to the grave....
Love them
Gary, you were the best back in the day, and you are the best now. Period.
Awsome band. Really strange they havent made it big yet
No Bloomfield, no Brooks, no Gravenites...no Electric Flag.
Holy cow. Maybe it's the audio but she sounds very flat and a bit all over the place. Not good.
The people nearby giggling don't seem to understand what this song is about.
My date didn't either until I told her. She was in shock.
@@robertorme06 It's a doozy, ain't it!!
Do you have more videos of this beautiful performance?
Hands Clean and Perfect are on youtube as well, same show.

Tu és como o cd Feast of the Scraps. Tu não estás grávida e nunca teve filhos. Amo você.
