@MattZuba83 I don't really know based on the video, but I think there are two separate (possibly related) issues. First is that the compressor kicking on should not make that clicking sound. That's where I would investigate first by opening it up and IDing where it's coming from and seeing if there is some obvious fix associated with it...and maybe be related to the other problem. The second is why it thinks it's on when it's not. I'd probably try and see if there was anything obvious that would be accidentally completing a circuit to turn it on around the switch mechanism or power button (I'd take out the whole back assembly and inspect). Make another video when it's opened up.

Though this solution doesnt fit the symptoms perfectly well, I would also try completely covering the sensors on the inside of the end of the cannon that read when you put the ball in. Sometimes these get wack and auto trigger it to fire with light (though this doesn't explain why it's firing when it's not actually on, but worth a shot to see if this link in the chain is the one that's damaged as we troubleshoot)

@@eastfullertonbaseball added a new video on my profile testing it opened up. The clicking sound as I push the on/off button is coming from the pressure switch that I point to. I unplugged it from the pcb board and flipped the switch and the compressor still comes on. I checked over all the wiring and nothing looks damaged or out of place. I also cleaned and then tried covering the sensors with no luck. I did email Zooka before I originally commented here last week and they think the pcb board is bad and needs replaced.

I do not know as I purchased it used. I needed to upgrade it to have the horizontal control, which means is pretty darn old.

Honestly, I dont have a single Zooka branded charger/transformer either for my 3. I just found a standard 1.0 amp output transformer in my big box of adapters and cables I had in my garage attic and used that. The form factor of the plug is pretty much the same on every electronic device. I think one I used from an old router, another from a rock tumbler and a random one I found. Amazon should have plenty of options. The beeping means it doesn't like something about the charger. Maybe just try something you have lying around the house.

Believe me i've tried every adapter i have, ...lol.. I even bought one on amazon same thing..

@rocketdog2723 I'm too lazy to look up if yours is the late or early model zooka. If it's early model, you'll have to cut off some useless metal inside to make it fit.
