I just received my carbon steel wok ( souped up recipes endorsed) with a wooden lid. How do I clean the wooden lid before I use it. Thanks.
@@kummingsum8429 Hi, the wooden lid is the only downside of this wok. I simply wipe it with damp cloth and air it to dry. If you buy the newer version, it comes with stainless steel lid with glass in the centre. Thank you for dropping by 🙏🤩
Thanks for making the video! Definitely gonna check this out.
Great video! Really enjoyed it. 👍💜💜💜💜👍
What's the point of the machine separating them when there all dumped in the same truck anyway
Buena planta
What a creative way to make succulent plants into bonsai! ❤
Crece muy bien
Hi, may I know how long to get to Dotonbori? Would you recommend this hotel if with baby?
Hi, it is about 15 mins easy walk to dotonburi. It is quite a new hotel and spacious with addition of window seating. Very convenient and about 5 mins walk to the famous Namba happening place in Osaka. Thanks for dropping by.
😮❤❤❤
Gracias ❤❤❤
This is a great wok. Accurate tutorial on how to care for it too.
Just got this wok a few weeks ago and am loving cooking in it!
😋🤤
Muy buen proyecto
Muy buen video
Gracias ❤️
So exciting! I want to try this!
Will be using a thicker cheese batter. Can i lay it flat for thicker batter
Hi, definetely not laying flat, the batter will overflow. Thanks for dropping by though 🙏
I just bought it today, should I transplant tomorrow and put it in full sun or partial shade? Thanks
Hi, you can transplant it in the ground provided it will have enough full sun, a full direct morning sun is good. Water them after planting in ground. They are hardy succulents. Thanks for dropping by 🥰
Your rock work is exquisite! You're talented, beautiful display of your amazing plants. Thank you for sharing it with us ❤
Muy bello
Thank you ❤
Hi, do you collect cactus?

Baru betul resep nya enak ❤❤❤
Beautiful……. Never seen this before…. Love it
Like 29, Its really an awesome footage capturing the beautiful alluring plants that entice your viewers to keep on watching, thanks for the sharing this wonderful relaxing video, stay safe always.
“Very non-vegan” gotta love that review, the most convincing comment for non-vegan foodies
I don't know about such plants, but for trees one must match a cambium of a scion and a stock for best result. Anyway, very nice vid, thanks!
so beautiful and simple to make👍
I have one of these but still prefer my stainless made in pans for eggs.
a very enjoyable commentary…. good job Table37
wow... ur garden is beautiful 🤩, u have a green thumb!
so many varieties in your lovely garden. love it
so many varieties, so beautiful. Love it
Recipe says one egg but video has two egg yolks. Is it an error in recipe or a change ?
Thank you for pointing out the error in recipe. It should be 2 egg yolks. I have corrected it. I hope this recipe is useful for you. 🙏🥰
Thanks for tips. You make it so easy to wrap
yummy….
Where is this location in Melbourne
Hi, It was take last year around Harpley estate at Werribee. You can also find it along ballan rd towards Bacchus Marsh direction. I went there this morning and it is in season now. Thanks for dropping by 🥰
Similar to what I do. BTW, I ordered Mandi's wok the very day she offered it for sale, was that 2 or 3 years ago? I use it almost every day and it looks absolutely fine, very black, and is so easy to clean. I don't pour hot water in it though. Usually after its cooled down a bit I take a paper towel and give it a wipe to remove any bits that come off easily. Then I heat it to smoking and clean it under very hot water with a Teflon pad -- being careful not to steam my face. Congrats for showing how *little* oil is needed when re-seasoning after cleaning. As with cast iron pans, less is more. It's a very fine wok and I'd recommend it any day. Nice video too, thanks. 👍
I have 3 carbon steel woks that I've collected over 50 years. I took a 30-year hiatus from using them, but I decided to clean and preseason a couple of years ago, after watching several youtube videos. Here, I'll share some tricks I've learned to make restoring them easy. 1. If it's rusty, spray a 50:50 white vinegar water solution onto both sides. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then scrub it with a software wire brush or equivalent. You don't need a lot of elbow grease for this. Scrubbing will be minimal because of the vinegar spray. Repeat if necessary. 2. To remove the old seasoning, add water and heat the work on high until it boils. Then add 3 - 4 Tbs of food-grade citric acid into it and turn the heat down to simmer. Let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes. Use a scrub sponge occasionally to gently wipe the old seasoning off. You can use some of the hot water-acid solution to clean the outside of the pan too. Wipe it on, or add it into a bigger pan or container and sit the pan to be cleaned inside. Keep the water hot and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. That should do it. . 3. Pour out the water, dry the wok over heat, and re-season as you showed here in the video. You may want to reblue the carbon steel wok over a flame. Check other youtube videos to learn how to do that. I did and was very happy with the result. If you aren't satisfied with the cleanup after steps 1 and 2, repeat them. One repetition should do it. This also works on other carbon or cast iron pans too. I haven't tried it on stainless steel, however, the boiling with water and citric acid trick will remove gunk from both sides of any pan. Warning: do not try this with a non-stick wok, if it's rusty or otherwise funky, I recommend donating it to a charity resale store and buying a new carbon steel wok - possibly this one from Souped Up Recipes - because Mandy really knows her stuff. You'll up your Asian cooking skills immediately.
I love this cake and will definitely try this recipe. Thanks Table37
