2019 Nissan Nevara - Ceramic Coating - Platinum Package (Befor & After) - Melbourne
Proving the daily work Ute needs love too. This Nissan Nevara recently visited Patton's Auto Care for a thorough clean up and a full ceramic coating process. The chosen option was our Platinum Packages, which includes coatings for the paintwork, plastics, wheels, and all interior materials. This is our most affordable coating option. It includes a dealership-grade ceramic for the paintwork, which has a life expectancy of 3 years.
On arrival, the exterior of this car was in desperate need of some TLC and was riddled with the usual swirl mark scratches and imperfections. So, before the coatings were applied, the exterior underwent a thorough paint correction process to rid the paint of imperfections.
The difference between before and after on this one is clear as day, and with a little upkeep from the owner, this thing will shine for years to come.

Oh, why would anyone get a WHITE color and then cover with matte black ppf... the white jams will look so contrastingly ugly. Should have got a black color car and then did a glossy transparent ppf.

Door Jams?
The lower part of the door jams can be covered. To cover all of it, you would need to remove the door. Which we don't do, as there's too high a risk of damage when you start taking a car apart to reach all areas 👍

now the Chinese product is good ?? i have a 2022 electric Volvo all parts broke one after other, i change the battery under warranty MADE IN CHINA , the electric motor is noisy back order from China, leak water inside like a pool, underneath is full rusted
Sounds like you had a run of bad luck with your car. From what we could tell, this Volvo seemed well built. At the end of the day though, we just protect the car's, we don't build them.

Can't see any difference ??? a special colour effect would be great. But the final gloss looks okay.
This particular paint was not super glossy to start with, so the final finish is only a light difference in gloss. But when it comes to protecting the paintwork, which is PPF's purpose, it doesn't get better than a process like this. Also, keep in mind that this is a video, so it doesn't really give the final result much justice. It's best to be seen in person 👌

What is that you are spraying on first? it looks like soap...
It is a soap and water mixture. Applying soapy water first allows us to move the film around on the panel without lifting it 👍

Not exactly. When we have the film where we want it on the panel, we remove all the soapy water with a squeegee. Believe me, we make things look simple in these videos. Applying PPF is not easy. Especially when you want to achieve a finish as clean as ours
