Any thick fabric you can get will do, with interfacing to stabilise the fabric

Hello, for an upcoming, is there a minimum number of years one must have practiced to qualify as an upcoming designer to qualify.
Hi, there is no specific required years, just for you to proof you are into fashion and if need be, you can add the years of your skill acquisition
Pls after you watch videos online, still go back and try to do some findings on your own. If you do, you will see that you must have been in the fashion industry for at least 5 years. But all that is on paper. There’s nothing wrong with you still trying regardless of if you’re up to that or not, if you have strong evidences. All the best ❤️
@@naijagurlandherpops I have, also went through ukvi website to understand better. For the potential leader route, you don't need to have been in the industry for 5 years. But I'll try it anyways. There's nothing to loose.

How did come about the 58inches.pls explain
The 58" used is just to give the a- line dress a fuller effect as it's not on bias fold. Hope you understand, thank you.

No, you will sew the underlay on one side
Please what length of the godet are we using, the length of the skirt?
Depending on how voluminous you want it to be, I measured from 2"" above my knee measurement to the end of the skirt, hope this helps

I used the fabric I cut out and I added some inches ( 3") to it for it to lay properly, thank you.

What I did literally was to measure the back pieces I cut out and added about 2" to it for it to lay and cover properly. Hope this help

And please how did you cut the lining , did you start from the length of the dress where the slant ends or u cut the same as the favric
I cut the lining exactly as I cut the fabric with the slant, but I didn't include the 2" folding in allowance , when I join the allowance with the lining it's going to fall in place, hope you understand 🥰🥰🥰

Please why did you make the slant from the the length of blouse and marked straight down to seam allowance
I made the slant from the half length of the blouse to give it a full effect after joining each piece together, hope you understand, thank you 🥰🥰
