Adventure Began at LPL! Balloon animals, rubber ducks, adult trivia challenges, and even an appearance by Tulip the Dinosaur-- Thursday's Summer Carnival had fun for all ages. The event, held to celebrate summer and kick-off our summer reading challenges, drew hundreds to our Dinosaur Garden.
A gorgeous summer afternoon welcomed young carnival goers who were able to color, craft, fish for rubber duckies, get a tattoo, complete a STEAM activity, and have some fun with Nerf toys. Adults could take the genre challenge and spin the trivia wheel. Everyone was invited to try their hand at guessing games. Jeff the Magic Man was on hand to twist and turn his balloons into fantastic creatures, swords, and hats.
This summer's theme is "Adventure Begins at Your Library" and the summer carnival was just the beginning of LPL's grand adventure.
