This is a good temporary method especially if you live in an apartment or condo or if the weather is extremely harsh. After they are 4-6 months, I recommend to bring them outside in the morning after they wake up ( to the SAME spot ), and after they eat their first meal, bring them outside again. One more time at night before bed. Repeat these and your puppy should be able to know to pee on the pad indoors, and also slowly gain some knowledge to pee outside. Before they are even 1 years old, they will completely be outside trained.

Why are you training a puppy to pre in the house? All my dogs have bee crate trained and if you take the pup out first thing in the morning they will pee. Then after their meals take them out! Treat, treat, treat and reward the puppy with lavish praise every time they go out to potty! Do not understand why anyone wants to train a dog to go potty in their house!

You shouldn’t be touching them that much poor mum was stressing out, and the pups naturally know how to find teets pushing their face down isnt helping your supposed to gently push their head back and forth pn the nipple like they normally would and only if necessary

I've tried the dyi yak chew twice now. This drying just does not happen for me. I've used while then 1%. Just can't get them to dry properly. Idk...

Clamp idea is awesome. I used two bread pans but the clamp idea didn’t work, so I used bag of concrete mix which was pretty heavy. This is a fun and rewarding thing to do for our wacky rescue dogs. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas.
