Mounatin to sea trail. Oyster point campground to HWY101. Neusiok trail southern end.
This is where the south terminus of the Neusiok trail is. From Oyster point to HWY 101 it is 12.4 miles. If it rained at all in a week prior to you going here then it will be muddy. If it rains the night before then you are looking at calf deep water at some points. There are plenty camping spots, along with 2 shelters. One at mile 3 and one right before the highway. 10 miles of trails and 2 miles of dirt road hiking.

Croatan National Forest NC. Weetock Trail hike.

I do not own the rights to the song. So you are going to want to follow the metal that is nailed to the trees. The trail is very well marked until mile 7 where you have to really look for it. I hike 14.6 miles in 5 hours and 18 minutes. Saw 1 hiker, 2 dogs, birds, squirrels, lizards. I would recommend hiking, trail running and mountain biking on this trail. Very nice trail.

Its a 4.0 mile trail. 111 feet of elevation gain. Its a loop trail. Super easy, kids could do it. Doesn't look to fun for mountain biking because there are so many roots.

I was in Okinawa doing Base telephone cable installation updating in 1994 and loved the diving Young Marines not old enough to drink were a danger to dive with Some are invincible with Total lack of self preservation or respect of the power of the open ocean. They would deep dive to get Nitrogen Narcosis Highs The last ones I dove with I told them 90 foot was the lowest depth We should dive because of safety and to make our air tanks last longer. I made the error myself and accidentally checked My depth gauge late and found Myself at 120 feet The 2 young Marines were much deeper below Me I immediately started banging My tank with My knife and the closest Marine heard and looked back. I pointed at My depth gauge and signaled I was going up and He should also I was going up and saw Him swim down toward His friend I surfaced and started swimming toward shore and looked back several times before I saw Both of them surface and follow Me to shore I didn't yell at them but I reminded them that I did not want to go below 90 feet and they were way far deeper than I went Fortunately None of Us had any side effects because Our dives even though were below 30 feet We did not violate any dive table rules for requiring a decompression stops because our times were so short. I had the Van for going to the dive sites and those two never dove with Me again. I wasn't mad at them. I just didn't want to be with them if them ever did get in trouble or died because they made another bad decision. I was there when a young Marine was found days after He went missing during a dive.

Was stationed there for the 31st MEU back in 2008 or so (2nd Plt, Delta Co, 3rd LAR). We used to swim out there. One of my favorite memories. Semper Fi, brothers!

I need to get out and hike this trail. I've driven past both ends of it hundreds of times on Highway 58. That church at the southern end of the trail has an interesting history. It's an AME Zion church and the KKK nearly burned it to the ground about 25 years ago but thankfully they were able to rebuild.

Beautiful, absolutely amazing beautiful. Spent a year stationed at Camp Schwab from March '86 - March '87 and loved every minute of it, especially the taco's at Number One Taco in Henoko. Weekends in Kinville (Sgt. Peppers, Shangri-La, Club Washington) and B.C. Street, Kadena. Great times, great people, great place to spend a year, no doubt. Thanks for the video my friend, Semper Fi!

Sometimes words are used to loosely to describe something in English. A "cave" can be many things in English and doesn't necessarily mean a sea cave. Perhaps you should school yourself in the English language before trying to cut down Americans.
