    When explaining where to start and stop, it would be helpful to say, start at measure 4, then play to measure 10, then go back to measure.......haven't a clue where to stop/start for the to Coda/DS at Coda.

    Very clear but when youre counting and playing what do you say on a rest? If i count the rest my fingers want to do something, if i say nothing i lose my count or rush into the next count. Do you say "rest"?

      it means similar. for example Ped. simile = continue to pedal in the same manner so that writer doesn't need to write it over and over

    So quarter notes are doubled and eighth notes are doubled? So if I have a quarter note, it's worth 2 beats and eighth notes are worth one beat?? Oct.8th
