Behold the Spectator - Baldur's Gate 3 Blind Playthrough [part 11]
Before proceeding to what I assume will be Act 2, we’re going to all the unexplored areas of the Underdark. This includes trying to rescue Baelen the lost mushroom-picking dwarf, and heading towards the battlefield full of petrified drow. I think petrification can only mean one thing, a beholder is lurking nearby,..

Forging a Way Forward (heheh) - Baldur's Gate 3 Blind Playthrough [part 10]
Переглядів 5414 годин тому
After losing the ~12 versus 4 battle against Nere (plus thugs) and about an hour of progress (I need to start quicksaving I guess), I work my way back to Nere and once again choose to fight. Will things go differently this time? Since I discovered the forge, the only thing any good dwarf would be thinking about is trying to craft some mighty adamantium equipment, so let’s also pursue that. A fe...
I Should Have Save Scummed - Baldur's Gate 3 Blind Playthrough [part 9]

After being dragged into all manner of quests which look set to extend our stay in the Underdark, we set off towards a huge subterranean dwarven city known as Grymforge. Being a ‘True Soul’ it might be possible to talk our way in without a fight, but seeing the way these Duergar behave and how they treat their gnome captives, I want to start smiting these wrongdoers. There also seems to be a he...
Dwarves vs Fungi - Baldur's Gate 3 Blind Playthrough [part 8]
Переглядів 24819 годин тому
Still scared to go into the Underdark, I explore more of the wilderness to the South. We encounter the mighty barbarian Karlach and agree to help her defeat the misguided paladins hunting her. After an eventful evening in camp (it always is), we head through the Selûnite outpost and into the Underdark, via the main gate (don’t want to meet any beholders near the petrified drow). Things quickly ...

Tidying up some loose ends before venturing to the Underdark, we encounter the unassuming Auntie Ethel. She turns out to be a monstrous hag, using powerful illusion magic to create an inviting teahouse in the middle of the wilderness. In reality, we are travelling deeper and deeper into a poisonous, trap-filled swamp. Seeing the evil horrors within the hag’s lair, we have no choice but to try a...
The Tieflings Are Safe - Baldur's Gate 3 Blind Playthrough [part 6]
Переглядів 36День тому
Time to take down the last goblin leader and clear out any pockets of evil lurking in the camp. We took one look at the Underdark and made a swift U-turn upon seeing signs of Beholder activity. With Halsin apparently having made his own escape by transforming into a bear, all that remains is to return to the Emerald Grove to share the news of our victory and enjoy the celebrations to come. It s...
Decimating the Goblin Leadership - Baldur's Gate 3 Blind Playthrough [part 5]
Переглядів 43День тому
Deep inside the goblin camp, we are seeking out the three goblin leaders and trying to dispose of them to halt the goblin attacks. It turns out these leaders are also carrying Illithid tadpoles and are being guided by the Absolute. Perhaps we can use that to our advantage to work our way in with minimal bloodshed. We also discover an underground Selûne temple which borders on to what looks like...

Our adventures in Act 1 continue! We venture North towards the Goblin Camp. If the goblin leadership can be eliminated then the tieflings may be safe to leave the druid grove. We encounter a few mishaps on the way, such as picking unfavourable fight with some teleporting spiders. We are also hoping to find Archdruid Halsin, who might be able to cure the tadpole ailment… 00:00 Catching Up With Z...

Our adventures in Act 1 continue! One more check of the Nautiloid wreckage reveals an injured Mind Flayer. Venturing North in search of a cure for the Illithid Tadpole we discover an interesting camp which is besieged by Goblin raiders worshipping a new deity, the “Absolute”. Within, there is an uneasy situation where a group of Druids have taken in Tiefling refugees but now want to expel them ...

Baldur's Gate 3 Blind Playthrough - Beard Setup [part 0]

I’m finally ready to get stuck in to BG3. The original (also Dungeons & Dragons based) Baldur’s Gate games are some of my all-time favourites, and I know this will be different but Larian’s Divinity games were also superb. High hopes for this role-playing game (RPG). The plan is to do a complete blind playthrough from start to finish. I was not involved in early access and I’ve seen no spoilers...
Shinkansen 0 - Hunting More Anomalies on Trains (All Endings)
Переглядів 217Місяць тому
Set on a Shinkansen, which is what we call “bullet train” in English, this is one of the more famous J-horror titles from prolific studio Chilla's Art. Much like Platform 8 and The Exit 8, it is an observation/walking game where we are trying to spot anomalies (or the lack thereof) in order to progress through the train carriages. We meet a number of interesting characters along the way… 00:00 ...
Platform 8 - When Anomalies Fight Back
Переглядів 1702 місяці тому
Platform 8 is the sequel to The Exit 8, the hugely popular walking simulator game inspired by Japanese subways and liminal spaces. This is a full playthrough, including the "white" ending, which means I did not encounter every anomaly. In Exit 8 we were meant to run backwards when we encountered anomalies, this time it's a bit different. You can only keep going forward from one train carriage t...

A full playthrough of this fun "anomaly spotting" game, including the ending and seeing all the different possible anomalies (that's a sign of being slow more than anything). Turn back when you spot an anomaly or you will get stuck in a loop, endlessly walking the liminal space-like hallways of this rather spotless Japanese subway station. The developer KOTAKE CREATE has followed this success w...
"It was a misclick buddy"
I just took down the Fungus guys as my duergar paladin warlock you get like 10 spell slots a day
As a Gold Dwarf I felt like allying with the fungi against my hated cousins :)
I want to say that your character looks awesome, and I'm enjoying your playthrough. It's just something I can listen to because your voice is nice, and it's honestly just.. Im enjoying watching so far.
Hey - thank you! It's awesome to receive some feedback like this, especially on my first let's play series. I'm enjoying the game and I'm aiming to keep adding an episode a day while I can.
It took me longer than it probably should to discover fast travel. I think I was scared off by Gale's initial mishap of being stuck inside the portal. When did you realise you could navigate using the waypoints at will, from anywhere on the map?
I probably shouldn't have done that first dungeon with only 3 party members :( Did you work out how to make the big stone fall down and presumably open up another entrance to the ruins/dank crypt? Maybe if you queue up a spell the crane thing holding it up is a target you can pick?
Did you manage to defeat or steal from Commander Zhalk on your first playthrough? It's definitely one I want to revisit.
I was able to force Commander Zhalk to 'Drop Weapon' using one of Shadowheart's spells, 'Command', and then my main character picked it up as I was headed to the transponder. I had to change Shadowheart's prepared spells before the encounter on the bridge, and I had to use the 'Command' spell twice (using up both of her spell slots) because Commander Zhalk 'Saved' on my first attempt
@@Wolfe3927 Yep, i definitely missed a trick but I'll have to make do without that badass sword. Feels like missing Sarevok's sword at the start of BG2 :(
I liked the 'Down by the River' and other parts of the soundtrack from character creation. it has to be good when you're spending so long tinkering with your character :)
26:49 Itsi = One mistake
Thank you :) it was annoying me not knowing what it meant.
16:21 15 anomalies is left.
Ahhh. I think I was a bit unlucky not to see more then. I got several repeats
2:25 Windows is going closed
Damn, nice spot. Too subtle for me!
It was a fun game although slightly hampered by graphical and audio glitches which resulted in some "false positive" anomalies. That's my story and I'm sticking to it...
I think I enjoyed the subtle approoach of The Exit 8 more, but it was still a fun little game considering its low price tag! Have you played either of them? What's your favorite anomaly?
Those expanding posters really tripped me up. Gave me a chance to experience all the anomalies though :) which is your favourite one?
In a perfect world they could procedurally generate escape room games so that you couldn't just make a guide on how to finish them. Then they would implement them as a requirement to finish before you can use the in game chat and voice coms to keep the lowest common denominators out of the conversation.
I'm going to tell myself all these 30 min videos peeped a look at a guide before recording and that I am not in fact, obtuse.
I think (hope) that the more of these things you play, the better you become at solving the puzzles - right!?
