like kiiara is the only one who survived atlantic, but even though she was the OG, were they trynna recreate kiiara then?

​@@badsmutt Not really! They weren’t trying to recreate anything, It’s more of Felix Snow’s signature sound. The vocal chops were his hallmark, which is why every song he produced had a similar vibe and often went viral. People loved his minimalist style, but the vocals played a crucial role too, especially Kiiara’s. Her voice complemented his production the best. Kiiara managed to survive because she was open to experimenting. She kept evolving her sound, and her collaborations significantly helped her. She’s doing much better than the other EFFESS artists, most of whom were held back by their egos. Terror Jr is doing alright, but TYSM had potential but she wasted it. She didn’t put in the effort. Beyond working with Felix, she didn’t explore enough with other producers. Overall, the whole EFFESS project felt unplanned. Kiiara was the only one who took the initiative to explore and seize opportunities. Atlantic Records had minimal involvement. When she stopped working with Felix, they tried rebranding her, but it didn’t help. In fact, they f'd up her career by delaying her debut album for five years.
