hi kelly my name is alexia. I found your video by searching youtube for scoliosis surgery. I am writing to you from Italy, and I too have been operated on like you. 3 years ago 15 May 2019, I had a developmental scoliosis of 43 dorsal degrees, I discovered my scoliosis when I was 11 but at that time they made me put on the corrective corset and physiotherapy ... I don't tell you the discomfort I felt ..then I left everything I could not do it ... after the age of twenty I began to have pains, breathing difficulties .. and it was not easy mentally at the beginning to realize this. but I took courage and found my rescuing surgeon! my post-operative recovery was very long and painful .. chest pains, I could not sit up .. they helped me in everything for everything .. but I recovered very well. I was also doing some physical activity .. but unfortunately on Friday I will have to reoperate .. I have a higher bar than the other end at the height of the cervical .. and that piece that goes higher unfortunately last month is released! luckily nothing to worry about but it gives me swelling in the neck and discomfort ... believe in faith. .. it will be stupid .. but could you make a thought for me on Friday? .... I will be alone in the hospital .. we do not accept visits because of the covid ... and you know feeling alone in those moments is bad ..
