This is how much I do for 8 reps and I don't slam/drop the weights on the ground. I slowly lower them. I also only weigh 165lbs.....

Why do you have to scream out after each rep? Why do you have to scream “Thank you god, praise Jesus” on your last rep so the entire gym can hear you? It’s more impressive if you can keep all that internally rather than vocally expressing it externally.

@@dcamz6875 Whatever your reason is, I’m all ears. I’ve just never encountered anyone in the gym that does that nor in videos. The concern is that it could be very distracting to others, potentially causing them to lose focus on their compound (possibly heavy) lifts, resulting in them hurting themselves. It could also throw off the rep counts of other lifters in the proximity or even across the gym because I can probably guarantee everyone hears you at the gym.

Try millitary press, feets together, power clean and press from the chest without using momentum from power clean or pushing with legs to lift above head (remember feets together). Imagine what you are doing if you did it with dumbells how ridicilous you would look. I can't believe that lifts like this are legit. I know this is olympic lift which makes it more insane.

Nice job, man! When you do it without the squat it is called a power snatch, which is also a very good exercise, but the remember the squat part for a proper snatch.
