I have been taking care of my hair since 2023 and it has been a long journey but i started seen results like 4 months ago and i had to be consistent and find ways or tips for my type of hair
Yesss sis! It definitely is such a journey! And consistency is definitely key! 💜🔑 I’m so happy you’re starting to see results! 🔥
Super idea..Thankyou
Awesome! I am so happy this was helpful!

Thank you
@@anjelawitaj9521 of course love! Happy to help!💜
Hair is winning.
Thank-you so much sis!!! Appreciate you!💟
In your opinion what is the difference in hot oil treatment before shampooing, and pre pooing before shampooing, aren't they the exact same thing?
Great question! 💜Hot oil treatments and pre-pooing are similar but they serve slightly different purposes. A hot oil treatment is for deep moisture and repair, which is perfect if your hair’s feeling dry or damaged. Pre-pooing, though, is a gentler prep step to protect your hair from shampoo, using oils and/or other softening ingredients such as conditioners or aloe. Both are pre-shampoo, but they tackle different needs. Hope that helps!🤗
Thank you!😊 ur da besssst!
@@ruthforonda9312 so happy this was helpful💜
Hey AJ !! 😊
Heyyyyy! Thanks so much for the love! 💜✨
Thanks. And your hair is beautiful! 👍
Thank-you so much love! 💜
Hiii, thank you❤ just to clarify, do you use this 3 step process on both wet (freshly shampooed and conditioned) and blow dried hair? :)) lmk xx
Hey love! Great question! 💜 I use this process once my hair air drys after wash day. and the days between my wash days. I wash my hair every 3-4 weeks so I will use this process every 2-3 days. If I blow dry me hair after wash day and want to keep it fully stretched then I will use the avocado hair butter. This will give my hair some nutrients without allowing it to get damp with moisturizing products. When I’m okay with my hair getting slightly damp, this may be week 2 or 3 after it was blow dried, then I will use this 3 step process. Hope this helps
❤❤❤love it I'll try your products

Your awesome! 💜 Thank-you so much!
My hair tangle easily wht shoukd i do leads to hairfall
Thanks so much for reaching out about this. I have hair tips for this in all my videos. Check them out and you will definitely find tips to help with hair falling out.
Keep the Sabbath, NO BUYING OR SELLING ON THE SABBATH Exodus 20:8-11 King James Version 8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
You & your hair are beautiful! Thanks for the tips!
Thank-you so much! 💜 Glad these tips were helpful
I need my braids did need ur info please ❤
💜Hey love! This was done by my friend/hairstylist. She’s located in LA and her IG is @_stylenmaintain_
be going 3 months or 4
Oh okay 💜 I have found often times there can be alot product/dirt build up over that long period of time, ultimately causing breakdown during the take down and Detangling process. When wearing box braids for this time, just make sure you are maintaining them properly.
i keep mine in for like 2-3 months cuz I do not feel like rebraiding 😭
I definitely feel you! 💜The only thing is that you could have a lot of product/dirt build up over that long period of time, ultimately causing breakdown during the take down and Detangling process
I keep my individuals in for 5to 6 months and I keep them up and the are small-medium and wash them too
Hey love! 💜 that’s good that you are able to keep them up. 👍🏾 you always want to make sure you don’t get too much product/dirt build up esp around the top end of the braid, which can cause breakage.
The braids are beautiful but they appear to be too tight. Look closely at her edges.
Hey love! 💜Even though they look kinda tight, they actually were just done very neatly with little tension on the edges
Perhaps not
Uhhh 4-6 weeks if maintain properly
I keep em in 3-4 months cuz I like the very obvious crazy growth difference
@@KoconutKingdom.OD-fj thats cool if it works for u great trust i know the work that goes into natural hair and i bet the growth is killer
@@KoconutKingdom.OD-fjgotcha! Often times leaving them in that long without properly maintenance can lead to build-up and can cause breakage during the detailed down or detangling process. But if you have found a way to maintain them it can be a good protective style
I know that feel good😂
Yesssss! It definitely did! 💜🤗😊

your so good at braiding !! 💕
💜Hey love! Thank-you so much! This was actually done by my friend/hairstylist. She’s located in LA and her IG is @_stylenmaintain_
Yeeesssss. This is so real. I tell this to my clients
Me too
❤ thanks 😊
Of course! <3
I had a microwavable gel cap that I went to go use and discovered that all the gel had mysteriously disappeared - left no trace, no sign of a leak/no dried up liquid marks. I didn't want to spend the $25 to get a new one... Thanks!!
When you did the research to learn how to take care of your hair what did you search
When I first started my research back in 2008/2009 there was not as much info about caring for black hair as their i now, but I searched for “How to Grow Natural Hair”, “How to Grow Black Hair”. There were a few blogs that had great information and there were about 5 UA-camrs at that time that provided great information as well.

Hey there! Just dropped you a DM on Instagram. Your UA-cam videos are absolutely fantastic!

You grew up in the 90s didn't you 😊. #pinklotion 😂
Yesssssss! Definitely grew up in the 90s with the pink lotion! hehehehe lol
@@allnaturalkinks me too 😂
Hi aj do you think braids or sew ins are healthy at all because I heard they can be unhealthy
I don't think they are. They contain lots of chemicals. There are articles out there talking about it. Avoid them if possible..
So you are saying don't get them
Thank-you so much for reaching out about this. It depends. As far as a protective hair style, it can be a healthy. For braids, it is extremely important to keep your hair and scalp moisturized while you have the braids in. Also this style should not be worn more than 4-6 weeks at a time. For sew-in, ensure your hair is in a healthy state before getting it, ensure it is not too tight, and seek a professional for the installation that is educated on natural hair. For both of these styles, ensure you shampoo your hair and get rid of all build up and do a deep conditioning treatment before getting the style. As far as the hair quality itself, ensure you do some research on the quality of hair that you are using especially if you are allergic or sensitive to the chemicals in hair extensions
When used correctly, Braids and sew-in can be good protective styles and help retain length.
Between weaves and braids which is less tension and promotes more hair growth
Yes I was using Pink lotion back in the day😊I still use grease from time to time my hair loves it as well as shea butter and my oils. Thanks for sharing your amazing tips. 💖😊
That’s so great to hear! 💟 And yes, it’s always great to find what works best for your hair and continue to use it.🤗 A great consistent hair routine is key to length retention.
My childhood my hair was thick now my hair is thin don't now maybe age over 56 thank you for your hair growth tips South Africa
I am so happy these tips were helpful! For thickness, you can try daily scalp massages with an oil product containing rosemary. Feel free to check out the All Natural Kinks growth oil (allnaturalkinks.com/products/kinks-hair-growth-oil). Thinning hair also sometimes has to do with nutrition and/pr stress and yes age as well.
Yes 🙌🏿 this is exactly what I do and I am over 50. Scalp messages everyday for me with oils and herbs in the oils. Thank you for the tips.
That’s great! And of course! Happy to help! ❤
Wow we kind of have the same hair type. And same issues. My hair was long in childhood because my grandma kept it braided and twisted up that would last all school week. She’d do my hair again on the weekend for the next school week. Her hands came from God lol my hair was down my back. Im currently doing the whole braid down at night and restyle in the morning thing 😭 thank you soooooo much for the tips.
Yessss grandma!! 💜She was on it!🤗 Keeping your hair in the protective style when you were younger definitely helped with the length retention. That was also a game changer for me.🔥 I am so happy these tips were helpful. I will continue to give more tips on this platform. Stay tune 👀
I have breakage everyday ❤
Hey love! Thanks so much for your comment. I have hair tip videos that will definitely help with your breakage. Check them out in my 'Shorts' section
My hair use to absorb moisture easily but now, no what I do nothing works😢😢
Hey love! to help products absorb in your hair better try adding steam. You can either get a steamer or wet a small towel-> heat up towel for about 1 min -> place on top of your hair -> then add a shower cap. This will create steam and help the product to absorb better into your hair.
Remember, its culture not color.

Hi! When I moisturize do I need to unbraid and re-braid my hair every day? Or should I spray on top of the braids?
Hi love! You can spray and moisturize on top of the braids.
Now you know I’m all about supporting you. Let me share with others That I love your products and after washing my thick hair Only your shampoo makes my hair feel good and detangle. Your oil keeps my scalp dandruff free😊 great products and Your an awesome With sharing your knowledge ( Sh)
Wow! You are the best! This made my day! I am soo overjoyed to hear how well the products work for you.
I do this ! It works!
Yesss! So great to hear! 💜
Yes leave in and shea butter is a great combination to moisturize hair. 👍🏾
Yes! Completely agreee!
Wouldn't it cause build up if you moisturize daily?
It depends on your hair type. If you hair is a kinkier texture and is prone to dryness , its often okay to moisturize daily
Guess it just depends on hair type. I have stereotypical biracial curls. The shower is my friend when it comes to combing😂. Especially run the comb through when the water is running through the hair … you lose not a single hair. The water provides slip and flow and it’s less resistant to the comb even if there is a knot. That ball of hair was freaking scary. If combing under the water , it’s usually like one or two hairs literally. Sometimes I use conditioner and sometimes I don’t… but I’ve always gotten big balls of hair outside the shower.
Hey love! I completely agree. It definitely depends on the hair type. If you have a thicker, and kinkier hair texture and you are detangling after a 2-4 week style, it is often better to detangle below the shower. But if you are washing and conditioning more frequently and you are not experiencing breakage in the shower then you are good to go <3.

That might be too long....
4 weeks First to comment 😂😂😹
Yesss! 💜4 weeks is a good amount of time 👌🏾 4-6 weeks
This really works
