I just saw Pete Davidson on Sunday night and was completely stunned by the no phone rule but honestly completely understand it now. Him and the opening acts were all very invested in their craft and my god it is not an easy job. Comedians have to be smart to come up with their own material and to be able to entertain a crowd. That is a gift. To be one of those low lives to try to diminish that is just so baffling to me. Pete also came to New Haven, CT which is like a decent area for comedy but my god the guy was on SNL, dated a Kardashian, and has his own Netflix Specials. He could be opening at one of the bigger venues in the area like Kevin Hart and Dave Chapelle but I appreciate that he does shows at the more intimate venues because it definitely feels more personal. I’ll admit not every joke was a winner but I would definitely want to see him again.

I’m so sorry this happened. I saw his show with my daughter in May at Pechanga Casino. He was everything you said. We left the show in such good spirits. He’s had a kind and gentle soul and it really comes out in front of an audience.

My son and I went to an Edgar Allen Poe speakeasy and as you would think, it was poetry reading and intense. These drunk ass holes behind us laughed and giggled through most of the show. WHY come? Why ruin things for everyone??

lets be honest, pete is below average comedian. I could care less if he walks, runs or jogs off or stays there. People actually buy tickets to his show? Crazy!

As a longtime standup fan going back decades, back-and-forth between comics and hecklers is actually a tradition, and many comics relish the chance to shoot them down verbally (usually rowdy drunks). However, from what I know about Davidson, it’s not his style, and they need the following policy at all venues: If the heckler’s disrupting the show, and the comic doesn’t/no longer wants to play along, the comic can have security throw out the heckler, period, no questions asked, no refunds. Another problem is hostile audiences when the material isn’t PC. My wife and I were at a Funny Bone show here in Omaha with the great Bobby Slayton---who often spars with hecklers---and there were audience members yelling at him about his sexual jokes being offensive. Luckily, the audience shouted them down, but this was about 15 years ago, long before the current age, when comics no longer play colleges because college audiences refuse to accept jokes that veer from their socio-political sensibilities. When I was in college in the late ‘80s, I got to see shows by greats like Rich Hall, David Spade, and Wayne Cotter, but today, they’d be shouted down as haters.

Nebraska here, I would like to know what they heckled him with. What was said? I know this happened in Nebraska, but there’s so many Iowa people that go to all of the things in Omaha. Since it’s just a drive across the river. Other Nebraska’s are also asking what was said, and we can’t find any information. What on earth was he getting heckled for?

I was at the early show, the one he finished. His set sucked, but i don't think he should have been heckled off stage. The late show folks looked hammered before the show even started, so I bet that had something to do with it.

I saw Pete Davidson in Colorado Springs & we had one heckler. Thank God someone shut him up because Pete was so nice & to see someone like him in our little one horse town was AH-MAH-ZING!! He was so funny and I bought the tickets for my husband, but I laughed so much more than my husband. I only wish he had like a VIP coz I would have paid good money just to go up and say hi to him. The car and the garage. I have been using the joke for everything!!
