Context of Luke 6 does not talk about financial and material giving. Read the verses around verse 38, they talk about judgement and forgiveness. It would be a bit Schizophrenic from Jesus to talk about judgement in 37 verses, about riches in one verse and then about judgement again

The more I hear from this pulpit the more I am convinced of utter heresy by this pastor. You promote teachers who rob the flock of their money, promising them things they don't need Jesus to love. You think God took on flesh, was physically crushed on a torture device, literally died, rose from the dead, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and is coming again...so you can get a raise? So you can promote New Age "name it and claim it" theology? Not everything in the Bible is viewed through your prosperity lens. This is theologically disgusting. Repent pastor and believe. Christ is Lord. God literally took on flesh, and didn't practice anything you taught. Instead, he was homeless, spat upon, kicked out of towns, lied about, rejected by his family, etc. You're killing the local church. We will all stand before a holy and righteous judge, and none of the things you covet will matter on that day. Kenneth Hagin plagiarized his theology from EW Kenyon, was debatably possessed, and influenced Kenneth Copeland who may be the most vile and heretical preacher in the history of America. This is New Age garbage.

St. Paul used the word "CHILDREN" or "OFFSPRING" in the context and meaning that ALL Children have Biological PARENTS (Creator/Maker)... In conclusion, PHYSICALLY, we are All Children (created) by God... however, SPIRITUALLY, Not All are Children (doing the WILL) of God." Facts and Truth of the Matters, Biblically speaking... When read in (CONTEXT) (Luke 6:37-42) has nothing to do with (GIVING MONEY). Read before that verse and after, but about (HOW WE JUDGE OTHERS).

Read Titus. ‭Luke 6:37-38 ESV‬ [37] “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; [38] give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” In otherwords, forgive! Be gracious! Give grace and you'll receive grace.

I’ll never forget my husband and I were going through a real bad financial period in our lives and we literally had like $200 left to our name and our car needed an oil change we were thousands of miles over for the oil change and we were sitting at the Jiffy Lube stressed didn’t say anything out loud but we both knew that we needed the oil change but we couldn’t really afford it but we were still gonna do it and when it was time to pay a young Marine stood up and said don’t worry about it it’s taken care of it was $100 bill and he doesn’t know how much he blessed us that day I hugged him so tight I told him you don’t understand what you just did you took a huge stress off of us we so badly needed this thank you so much and he was seriously such a huge blessing sent from God.
