Chris Delisa
United States
Приєднався 7 вер 2011
My name is Chris Delisa and I hold a Master of Music Degree from Colorado State University and Bachelor of Music Degree in Guitar Performance from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I have been awarded the Altman Guitar Scholarship on 3 occasions and performed in masterclasses with David Russell, Martha Masters, Ekachai Jearakul, Matt Palmer, and Jason Vieaux.
While studying music in college, I noticed that there was no class teaching us the application of music theory to the fretboard. So I have spent and continue to spend countless hours discovering and notating practical patterns and paradigms for the guitar.

Tribute to Francisco Tárrega
Created by Suno AI: app.suno.ai/
Unfortunately, it stopped at the beginning of the chorus, which you can tell was gonna be fire.
Lyrics:
[Verse]
Softly whispering, the guitar strings sigh
A dance of melodies, enchanting my mind
Through nimble fingers, each note takes flight
Caressing the soul, in the still of the night
Francisco's legacy, forever we admire
[Chorus]
Oh, Tarrega, your music sets us free
Painting pictures of love, for all to see
An ode to passion, in every strum and pluck
Your artistry, forever keeps us struck
In awe of the beauty, in each harmonious chord

This one is for: 8StringVGM ua-cam.com/users/8stringvgm Notice how the 7 EDO essentially changes it to a minor tonality?

This is an excerpt from my second master's recital at Colorado State University. Three pieces from a set of etudes I'm writing, titled: Catchy! (this title must be uttered with enthusiasm) Penne Rigondi Dramatically Incorrect Each of these uses exclusively one three-note chord quality respectively: Minor Major 7th (no 5th) Major 7th (no 3rd) Phrygian Triad (sus b2) I have found that sticking to...

Dejected Groose from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

A little piece from a very small part of Skyward Sword. But I thought it needed more attention so here’s my classical guitar arrangement.

A lesser known composer, Bartolomé Calatayud was born on the island of Mallorca. He was a huge fan of Tárrega, even briefly taking lessons with him. This is from the book “The Guitar Music of Spain. Volume One.”

This study is a small example of theme and variations. It has a neat orchestral-style ending.

Uma Valse e Dois Amores - Dilermando Reis
😮
Outstanding
Valça linda ❤
Голимое .
A execução das notas está excelente, mas precisa melhorar no ritmo e na marcação do tempo.
recording volume is too low
Noted. When I do my studio recording, it will be louder.
Cara, vc toca muito. Fiquei com vergonha de mim. Quero adquirir se CD. Parabéns.
Fantastic!
Great! 👍👏👏
Not so “désagréables” Chris! Your goal is’n reached 🤗 Very nice pieces and guitar playing! 👌👏👏🙏
Thank you. Such a nice balance between melody, gentle 'andantino' tempo and the Giuliani phrasing and 'trademark' structure well captured in this simple guitar gift.
I love your arrangements
👏👏👏👏👏 Parabéns Execução maravilhosa
Muito bom!
Parabéns e sucesso!
Muito bem interpretada. As obras de Dilermando Reis são inigualáveis.
Espetacular!!!
You’re the only one I’ve seen to alternate between ponticello and tasto. Well done.
Thank you! With this one I imagined a call and response. The ponticello represents brass and the tasto is the echo.
Parabéns!!!
I love this song, thank you for playing it so beautifully! 😊❤️
Thank you!
Fera!
Bravo!
Thank you!
Beautiful sounds. I know nothing of Zelda, is it oriental?
Well played indeed. Lovely tone. Perfect tempo and gorgeous harmonics to finish with.
Nice playing but your DAW has processed some strange overtones into your recording and messed it up. Whenever I clean up my recordings and remove unwanted noise I get the same sort of thing happening. It's a pain in the butt, so I try not to process my sound too much. I've never really achieved the sound I want and I'm still very much experimenting with gear, and the positioning of it. I like your playing very much.
You're right! Listening to this again, I think I could also work on mic placement and turning up the gain on the preamp. It sounds pretty faint.
Maravilhoso
Beautiful!! Chords?
Holy shit
I like the change this version brings to the original theme
A surprisingly beautiful piece
Show!
Show brother! Hugs!
This is just perfect thank you for uploading this beautiful cover of a beautiful soundtrack
Very beautiful cover. I am not sure I would be able to play this if I had the tab, but I would love to try; could you post a tab please?
I wrote it in standard notation, but I could convert it to tab. It’ll take some time to fix the fingerings.
@@infinitefretboard It'd be greatly appreciated!
@@infinitefretboard Hey, if making a tab is too far out of your way, I'd still appreciate it if you sent the sheet music so that I could turn it into a tab myself
@@eegbeeg Ok. My software has the ability to convert to tab, all though it's a little rough. So I've added that one and the standard here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1UnqhCZrNPG9-Nc44SbdG-_WGjx7obP_v?usp=sharing
@@infinitefretboard Thanks so much! It's a bit tough to understand at the rough parts of the conversion, but I'm happy to have the parts that are good :)
The theme of self-acceptance. This version really hits hard, well done!
Thank you!
Beautiful :')
Thank you!
Excelente!!
Great musicianship, you play with confidence and you did an amazing job to inspire everyone! You have dedicated your life to music and that is what makes me love about you. I have sent you a DM in one of your social medias and on your email, please let me know if you've received it.
Fuckkk yeah! 🙌
Woooo!!!
So nice! Sounds great
Thanks bro!
of what cutscene is this melody?
It plays when Link goes into the Gate of Time.
Came here because of your comment on Sam Griffin's video. I don't regret it at all
Thanks!
I can’t tell you how long I’ve been wanting you to do a full video, so so good!!
It’s been too long! I was gonna record it with my good mic a while back, but my adapter for it doesn’t work with the stupid lightning port.
Alai tati
Nice man. I'm learning this piece right now. I love your sound and the emotion you put into your playing.
Parabéns cara, bela interpretação!!!Essa é a versão original do Garoto né?
Thank you! I believe it is the original. I played the version published by GSP, transcribed by Bellinati. All though I haven't been able to find the original recording by Garoto, I believe it is the same.
Very nice, do you have sheet for it?
I don't know how I missed this comment! If you're still looking, this is where I got the music: gspguitar.com/the-guitar-works-of-garoto-volume-2.html It might also be available on Strings by Mail.
Bravo
Nice crisp lines on the green screen.
