I literally saw this video again today becuase of fb memories. I used to get choked up watching this 10 years ago and I still feel the same emotions to this day. One of my favorite all time videos. I wish this was a movie
till this day
A man who won’t stay down. Literally the story of mankind.
Still brings a tear to my eye
Christ is Life
Should win awards for short video of the Year back in the day when it aired. HBO boxing was in a class by itself in retrospect.
Being homeless helped my boy stay ripped, some things are a blessing in disguise
I would like to deserve with my life that this be played at my funeral...
Stay Hungry!!! Keep Working!!! 💪
No way a homeless builds that much muscle
In 22/08/2022. I separated after discovering my ex-wife had been cheating on me for 5 years out of the 10 years I was married to her. after the separation I went into depression I got anxiety, I asked for a vacation from my job and 2 months when I went back to work I was fired, I was at rock bottom, I used anxiolytics and anti-depressants to sleep, I watched this video I started going to the gym and fighting jiu- jitsu, I got a better job and today thank God I'm doing very well. I just wanted to thank you, good man or woman who posted this video on UA-cam to remind us that we are all children of God and that we "still have our soul" today I make videos and try to help men and women who are going through exactly what I went through.
What a powerful video!
All those pennies, nickels, dimes are the small currency people give that prob took him months to save and that coach saw it then in there. Gave him a chance! As the comments said he saw the fire in his eyes.
Chills watching this. What a dope inspirational video made by HBO.
As someone who used to compete in Kickboxing, this was a great motivation.
Yes Kings!
This is how Lamont Peterson became a champ, he and his brother were homeless before boxing..
Name movie
One of the best motivational videos I ever seen.
Better than anything HBO has put out recently.
Nice 🎉
This absolute masterpiece is still inspiring! To everyone I believe in you! You got this! You will overcome your struggles!!!
Still number 1

Just now watching this for the first time. Cinematic masterpiece.
I send this to every one of my fighters every so often. I lived a good portion of this. My life is definitely changed since I saw this but man does this hit hard every time
I remember one time when I was a kid watching cable hbo and was falling asleep and then this randomly started and I never forgot it it holds a special place in my heart ❤
You are great sir this is Mahesh Navale by
The part where he is hustling by street fighting and making some dough as the clip transitions into the money slap and then the sound of the mitts meeting his punches is just pure poetry.
Goosebumps Always
what a masterpiece, this video! Sometimes the yt recommend shows pure gold.
I watched this over a decade ago and yet it still makes me emotional.
I was jobless for almost 10 months. Today I finally found one because this video inspired me to keep applying for jobs no matter the circumstance. I watched this when I was applying and I came to watch this after getting selected as a Customer Support Specialist cum Digital Marketing Specialist. Never stop trying and keep believing in yourself!
Today marks my 9th month in my job. I'm feeling so proud about where I have come. We shifted houses, lost my beloved fur baby, a lot happened, but did my job no matter what happened. Never try to run away from the pain. Embrace the pain! Let it make you stronger than ever and never stop believing in yourself. The best is always yet to come.
This touched me. I think it's one of my favorite short films ever. And I am saying this after watching it for the first time.
My favorite combat sport ad ever. I come back to watch it every once in a while

@@ANANDKUMAR-iu4fqit’s an old advertisement for HBO boxing after dark. Sadly HBO stopped showing boxing in my 2018.
I love so much this video, I feel encouraged when I watch this.
I love this video.
One of the most powerful things I’ve ever watched. Always gets my mindset right ever since I watched it 10+ years ago training as a teen to a Married father as of late. Never get rid of this
One of the best parts is when the coach hesitates to take his money. It’s slight, but it’s there.
