For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is. We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man, be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH. Titus 1:16, They profess that they know God; but in WORKS they deny , being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. An amazing testimony how God transforms his life.

I don't comment for debates or to be disrespectful in any way, but we miss the point of this because we are focused on the small and or irrelevant things. I know people, Americans, who only speak English and pronounce things "differently" (some may say right or wrong). I know a lot of Hispanic people and I know Mexicans, Puerto Ricans and Dominicans pronounce things differently. They are still Hispanic and Spanish speaking. As a Christian, a Christ believer, a believer in the holy trinity and the death, burial, an resurrection of Christ: 1 faith, 1 God and 1 baptism, it vexes my spirit when Christian's debate about denominations, just as much as they do about Bible translations. The purpose of this video is bigger than that: this should be used to being others to Christ, but we are losing focus. Blessings to you all

I too went from Islam to Jesus Christ. The day Jesus Christ appeared in my room before my eyes He showed me himself that he lives. Now, the rest is history and I never looked back! I give all Glory to God, I am saved, born again, full of the Holy Spirit, and evangelising the Gospel! Hallelujah!! Jesus loves!!

Being Born and Raised in CT, (The church mentioned in this video) we have heard this testimony numerous times down through the years and even had the pleasure of Bishop visiting the Tabernacle multiple times. The story is even more layered but is completely true. It is more than just about denomination. The saving power of Christ is alive and real always and forever. To my brothers and sisters of the muslim faith I can understand your statements regarding his recollections, though they have may not been pronounced or recited accurately, the story you heard is true. We pray peace and blessings for his family.

Hi Kuwane Turner, It's the Grace and Mercy of God to find the true God and (according to God's WILL), ACCEPT HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. Unfortunately, in many Black Churches his son is accepted but, they tend to hold onto formalities, traditions, rituals, ceremonies and specified clothing displaying ranks of hierarchies of desired honourable positions. These things they seem to want more then obtaining a through knowledge of God's word and clearer understanding of Jesus Christ! In short they used these same tactics before they accepted Christ.They loved being noticed (how fine they dressed); loved practicing certain beliefs (what grandma said, ancestors or etc.). I call this - Missing The Mark!!!
