@@NinoDriven is there any drone in the cabin? Your exhaust has something different that the 24 that I have, I’m assuming since people have been getting pulled over from loud exhaust the Elantra N I have has lighter exhaust notes, should’ve got the earlier year because of how awesome it sounds, but I’m sure I can accomplish something similar with some work! Thank you so much! Do you have any recommendations on cold air intake? Or any exhaust work I can do to get some more aggressive/ louder notes?

@@NinoDriven it would always come from the front too and the car would be downshifting so I thought it could be a transmission whine 😂 nope, it’s those big red brakes😂

First 1000km, don’t race the car and be gentle with it. Go easy on the brakes and try not to go past 4K rpm’s. Don’t use NGS until about 1500km

@@NinoDriven I didn't get the car yet 😅. I meant the car in general looks good haha. I will tell you if I'm part of the N family. I drive a wrx 2022 and I want to test the car first before getting it. Going back to front wheel drive when I'm awd.. I wonder if it makes a big difference in the driving experience (except in snow).

Ohhh hahaha. There’s definitely a difference between AWD and FWD but the Elantra N is an excellent handling fwd car. If you need the AWD though, then it may not be the best choice!

@@NinoDriven yes, we do have winter here, but I don't "need" awd. I think awd is nice to have, but where I live it's not necessary. I think it's the case for most people, awd is like a bonus, but fwd cars are good enough for winter.

Eyy that’s great to hear man! I live in Calgary where we have some harsh winters and I’ve only ever had FWD cars. No problem! The pops and bangs come when you stay in 1st or 2nd gear and let off the throttle at roughly 4500 RPM. When you’re in higher gears, the exhaust does pop (not as much as 1st or 2nd) but you most likely can’t hear it due to road noise. If you want loud pop and bangs then you want to stay in 1st or 2nd gear, rev up to 4500rpm and then let off the gas. Burbles happen at around 3.5k in 1st or 2nd gear when you let off the gas. I noticed that the car also pops louder when it’s fully warm. Make sure that your AC is fully OFF as I’ve seen instances where the AC being on gets rid of the pops and bangs.

@@NinoDriven Thank you so much! Also, if I use the paddle shifter to shift in manual mode to stay at gears 1-2, how do I go back into automatic afterwards? Sorry if that’s dumb but I haven’t read the manual yet or anything lol.

Or can you use the paddle shifters without being in manual mode and the car will go back into automatic shortly after automatically?

Nope, that’s not something we have in the Canadian spec! I don’t think it’s there for the U.S spec either. I’ve only ever seen it for Korean Elantra N’s

It CAN run on 87, but recommended for it is definitely 91/93. I personally only ever put 93 in it unless it’s not available. 87 is okay, but for longevity, premium is what you wanna be using

Especially for a turbo car like this

@@NinoDriven I think when I get mine I’ll use 87 as I’ll mostly just do daily driving, and then use 91 every 3 fills to have some fun

Just checked and Canadian model doesn’t have anything listed. It’s just paint lol. The only sign is a sign of the owners manual. Here’s what the manual says: Your new vehicle is designed to obtain maximum performance with UNLEADED FUEL, as well as minimize exhaust emissions and spark plug fouling. Your new vehicle is designed to perform optimally using unleaded fuel having an octane number ((R+M)/2) of 87 (Research Octane Number 91) or higher. For improved vehicle performance, premium unleaded fuel with an octane number ((R+M)/2) of 91 (Research Octane Number 95) or higher is recommended. (Do not use methanol blended fuels.) NOTICE Using unleaded gasoline that is lower than octane number ((R+M)/2) of 91 (Research Octane Number 95) could result in reduced engine power and increased fuel consumption.

I have an Open Air Intake from forge and a resonator delete. The resonator delete just makes the pops and bangs a little louder but stock still sounds very similar!

This is with just the Intake. The inlet makes the flutter go away haha. That's sick man, what colour are you getting? I'm going to be uploading another POV video today with much better sound clips! @@m24rty34 Yup, just the intake. This is only for sound though. If you want performance out of it, you'd need to get the inlet since that's where the power increase comes from
