    Hi. Just got a gmade sawback like yours. I was wondering is the new body on yours 313mm and did the moving of the leaf attachments make the wheelbase big enough? 2nd do you have/sell the cnc file for the rear bumber? Thanks and great video!

      Hey! I honestly can't remember, but yes, I did move the leaf spring mounts. Just try it out and take lots of measurements

    A little late to the party i know lol, do you know if the parts shown will fit on the Komodo gso1......just got the Komodo and was looking at upgrading some parts to metal, would appreciate a reply but its ok if you don't, anyway nice video 👍

      Hey thanks! If it's the GS01 chassis, it should work fine. I believe the parts are interchangeable. The only difference is the suspension setup (link vs leaf), and the body

    Why did you put zip ties on your leaf springs that's going to make it a little more stiffer I normally remove the third helper smallest one sometimes the second helper depending on how soft I need my Springs and then by combining that with the Chino mod and sometimes Teraflex and revolver shackles I just curious is why you had the zip ties

    • @BriansGarage1989
      @BriansGarage1989 5 років тому

      Hey! I actually like them stiffer. With the heavy truck, I found it performed much better, and was less likely to bend the leafs

    Hi, may I ask whether you have already installed and experienced an issue with the moveable link (red color, the one on the left) - front wheels being pushed towards the right and having difficulty steering to the left. Thank you.

    • @BriansGarage1989
      @BriansGarage1989 5 років тому

      Hey! Yeah it definately doesn't work. Haha. In order to have a chassis mount servo, you need to remove one upper link, and have a panhard bar that is the same length as your steering link. This GPM kit is a little quirky...this springy link being a perfect example of a product not quite being tested properly.

    Did you have to extend the wheelbase to fit the proline body?

    • @BriansGarage1989
      @BriansGarage1989 5 років тому

      Hey! So sorry for a late response. Yes, I moved the front leafs forward, and the rear leafs backwards. I just drilled a new hole for each, and it worked great!

    I'm trying to run the chassis mounted servo with 4 link suspension I'm having binding issues with the flex an steering any help would be appreciated

    • @BriansGarage1989
      @BriansGarage1989 6 років тому

      Brandon Roberts on the 4 link, you meed to remove one upper link and add a panhard bar (axle to frame) adjacent with your steering link

    • @brandonroberts1179
      @brandonroberts1179 6 років тому

      Eclectic RC heard the steering link has to be parallel with lanyard bar is that true?

    • @BriansGarage1989
      @BriansGarage1989 6 років тому

      Yessir! Roughly. Just dont have it criss crossed on the other side :)

      Eclectic RC do u know where I can buy a panhard bar kit that I can make work? thought about converting it to leaf spring for more realistic look

    • @BriansGarage1989
      @BriansGarage1989 6 років тому

      Brandon Roberts go leafs for sure! Haha. But it you do 4 link still, you'll have to fabricate your own pieces

    • @BriansGarage1989
      @BriansGarage1989 6 років тому

      Earl rc guy martin hey! I moved them further from the centre of the chassis, (front forward, rear back) using the existing hole, then drilled new holes to accomodate the mounts

    Awesome vid man! Where did you get your accessories from?

    • @BriansGarage1989
      @BriansGarage1989 7 років тому

      max russell thanks! Most are from ebay or rcmart. I painted the weathering details by hand. The bed roll is just rolled up felt, and the barrel is from an old tech deck skateboard accessory kit. I also made the magazines just by photocopying and printing them 1/10 scale

    thanks guys! for the steering, i made sure my epa on my transmitter was able to max out, and I used a longer servo horn. I've got the servo mounted on the chassis, and I mounted the steering link on the inside holes on the steering knuckles. It made a pretty big difference. I'll try to get a video up soon!

    There are some very nice parts you have there. My favourite was the gearbox as you are right the nuts are a pain on them.
