Tomb of the Unknown Soldier - Changing of the Guard
The Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a solemn and meticulously choreographed ceremony that takes place at Arlington National Cemetery. The tomb is dedicated to unidentified U.S. service members who have died in wars, and the ceremony honors their sacrifice.
### **About the Ceremony**
1. **Location**: The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located at the Memorial Amphitheater in Arlington National Cemetery. It overlooks Washington, D.C., and serves as a focal point for reflection and remembrance.
2. **The Guards**: The Tomb is guarded by the U.S. Army's 3rd Infantry Regiment, also known as "The Old Guard." The soldiers who perform this duty are specially trained and must adhere to strict standards of conduct, appearance, and military bearing. They are chosen for their dedication, discipline, and ability to perform under pressure.
3. **The Ceremony**:
- **Frequency**: The Changing of the Guard occurs every hour on the hour from October 1 to March 31 and every half hour from April 1 to September 30. It takes place 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, regardless of weather conditions.
- **Process**: The ceremony begins with the relief commander appearing on the plaza to announce the Changing of the Guard. The new sentinel approaches the Tomb to relieve the current guard. They then inspect each other's weapon, ensuring it is in perfect condition.
- **Precision**: The guard's movements are precise and symbolic. The sentinel marches exactly 21 steps across a black mat, turns to face east for 21 seconds, then turns to face north for another 21 seconds before taking another 21 steps in the opposite direction. This number symbolizes the highest military honor, the 21-gun salute.
4. **Significance**: The Changing of the Guard is not just a display of military precision but also a powerful reminder of the dedication and discipline of the soldiers who serve. It represents a commitment to never forget those who have served and sacrificed for their country, especially those who remain unknown.
### **Tips for Visitors**
- **Arrive Early**: If you want a good view, it's best to arrive at the Tomb well before the scheduled ceremony time, especially during peak tourist seasons.
- **Respectful Silence**: Observers are asked to remain silent and respectful throughout the ceremony as a sign of honor to the fallen soldiers.
- **Photography**: While photography is allowed, visitors are reminded to be respectful and discreet to maintain the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony.
Experiencing the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a profound and memorable event, reflecting the honor and respect owed to those who have served in the U.S. military.

Love this video. This is going to help a lot. Can hardly wait for my unit to arrive.
@@dominique___1980 Nice. You’ll love it. When tugging down the lag bolts, only tighten to 20 to 30 inch pound, not the 40 to 50 mentioned in this video. The company has updated the torque specs after the video was produced.
@@CoolRVEverything - Copy that. Thank you.
@@CoolRVEverything- Done. Whoever did the original install of the AC.. just jenky!!! I had to make some modifications. But your video helped me SSSOOOO much. I kept referring to it while I was installing. I didn’t measure airflow before & after. But I can tell you that after owning my RV for 5 years, I can tell that the flow is absolutely better. And my son and I actually had a normal conversation without having to yell.
@@dominique___1980 Glad it worked out for ya.
What happens with the air dump vent? Looks like the unit blocked it off. Is that no longer usable?
@@the_ap_1561 Correct, the direct dump is not that efficient to get the air evenly throughout the coach and as the allowed pass through vents are smaller in total size from the ducting system, it reduces the air volume into the coach.
Stalagmites, Stalactites, first one I see tonight...
Thanks for the instructional video on this system. You were right on. Now we ll see if it makes a difference. 😊
180 dollars no thanks koolrv cost 84 dollars
Yep, and Airflow still out performs all the others.
Excelent video, short, clear straight to the point, I install really easy to install airflow system in my AC, and the best part is how great it felt inside my rv now 😇🥶. Lov it 🥰, thank you for your help
$170 for a piece of foam is robbery...
Looks awesome! Love AZ!❤️
Works very well
What if i have gaps between my vent inserts and the foam insert. The holes do no match up.
Good afternoon, it’s possible that due to the placement of the ducts that enter the plenum could be off set. Most of the time when this happens there may be about a 1/2 inch open spot on the front side of the duct insert. If this happens, use the supplied foil tape to cover the hole keeping any air going into the duct system.
When will you be making one for coaches that are fully ducted inside? Would the product work if we remove the unit on the roof to install?
Good evening, yes, as long as the dimensions and measurements match up, these can still be used in a full ducted system with you accessing it after removing the AC.
Stunning
Definition of Dick move!!!!!
Annoying music, but thx for video
Where did you purchase the morryde inflatable tent? I can't find it
MORRyde discontinued it a few years ago. You may find one used on Facebook or Craigslist.
So about 8-9 miles per gallon?
Up and down grades, like the Grapevine or Shasta, 7 to 8. On flats, 9 to 10. Next year will give me more of a decent mileage on the flats since we’ll be doing much more driving in the Midwest to East where a mountain is little more than what we call a hill.
It’s nice to be able to have that reach though. On an Alaska trip that would be killer.
Thanks for the video, I can tell you are a Traveling Man!
Good afternoon my Bro. Yep Washington 20 in Sacramento CA.
Typically a large trailer would be pulled with sway bars attached to the hitch system to prevent some of the swaying. Also, that hitch was much longer than a typical bumper hitch. I understand your message but your test was a bit off.
I’m pretty sure to certain no rational thinking person would see this as a spot on accurate demonstration. All tests such as this are a bit off. Vehicle weights are not comparable to true scale, lengths are not to true scale, parameters are not to true scale…. they’re toy cars for a representation and demonstration.
Awesome Demo Jeret.
Thank ya sir. Pretty interesting what the difference is when all things are the same except where it’s attached.
@@CoolRVEverything Yep - This is the first video I've seen where the only change was the attachment point. Very interesting. I'm sure noticing the towing differences with the new fifth wheel.
@@ZonaJim And the longer the 5th wheel, the more stable. I feel better towing my 45 footer than the 29 footer we had years ago.
That’s beautiful and new subscribers here!! Happy adventures ❤Zack & Linda
Does the handle face inside ? It looks you are outside the shower
Yes, it’s on the inside.
Tk U so much..❤
@01:10 i feel the same way about my woman's breasts. all jokes aside this is really good info @06:42 and @08:52 for any rv owners
Giddy! Nice work!!!
I'm looking for a review ... ok, now I see it in your comments ... thanks.
I have a 2019 jayco and don’t have a inside register will it work for my setup if I come at it from the top?
I just now installed mine by myself in the dead of summer into my Dometic Brisk Air II unit and the sheet metal panel is gapping on both left and right sides a bit more than yours is showing too after I put the 4 long bolts back up in there. I will probably need to put some sort of thin decorative framing material around it that makes it look pretty. Next, after I installed everything, I felt some cool air coming out of both the plenum ends facing the front of the unit wondering if that's ok or if I installed it improperly? I may need to put some silver tape over both the plenum insert ends to seal the air from seeping out. Other than that, I hope it works very well as advertised!
I am a 77 year old retired firefighter, I installed the air glow and it works great, keeping cool in hot north texas, also the film was extremely helpful
I am in dire need for an air flow kit. I have a Dometic Duo-Therm with a “standard” return. Will this kit work? If not, which one will?
Good evening, what is the model number and Rv it is being used on?
I have a 2015 Heartland Cyclone 4200 with Dometic A/C units. They look exactly like the one you are mounting the RV Airflow System Brisk Air 2 Install in this video. However, none of the Heartland Cyclones are listed in your list of pre-manufactured, or customized units. Do I need to give custom measurements, or would this one work with my unit?
Good afternoon, the comparably list may not include your model as those listed have been verified the units fit. To know for sure if it would fit you’ll need to get some measurements. cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0416/2863/1202/files/Measurement_Guide.pdf?v=1684868895
Where did you get the towel holder from?
Amazon, it’s a wine rack.
Over a year later, just wondering if you are still happy with this shower door? Does it work out okay not having a handle on the inside?
Good evening, Yep, still love it and still works perfectly.
Still holding up?
Still holding up well. A couple places that goes over the silicone has chipped.
We just bought a 2023 imagine 2670mk and took it out on its 1st trip. The heat and humidititty 😆 in Branson Mo. this time of year can really be challenging. We learned that these will be the 1st thing we modify in the unit.
Here in Arizona summer time it gets hot! I noticed the slidable piece that allowed the airflow to come straight down was nonfunctional now? Or does it still work? I use that when using the front kitchen and living room area, when time for bed, I close it for equal distribution? I won't give that up! How about others that use both airflows?
Those dump vents drastically reduce the amount of air that can get in to the Rv.
Love this! Glad you got your pet home safe. 🎉
One word of advice from your favorite Ranger... cover your license plate.
Good evening, hell, I may roam around Minden like this. Lol
@@CoolRVEverything lmao.... I'm sure you would! 🤣🤣🤣
LOL
How would you rate this compared to the integrated TPMS systems that a lot of Rigs come with? I have the Jaycommand BMPro system on my 5er. FYI.....you know me. lol
I prefer this system mainly because I can add many more configurations if needed. It can hold 4 profiles. My old RAM had a system on the truck and it would continually give me issues.
Hey thanks for the great video!!! I can see that you have a Ram truck and I'm curious if you had any issues with clearance with this Gen Y Executive Hitch? I actually have the exact same RV Momentum that you have. I have a 6"4' truck bed Ram and some of the places that I go camping have some pretty good dips and turns. I'm curious if your bed ever came close to contacting the top of the bed rail? Also do you have any idea on the height of lowest point when on level ground?
Good evening, nope, no clearance. But we had an 8 foot bed. Now we have a Volvo so it’s even better. ;)
Great video! I just went snowmobiling up here last weekend. It is awesome to see what it looks like without all the snow. The views up here are awesome! Just a short drive off the highway. Soo cool you can get your trailer in here too! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. We love it here.
Hi, Link doesn't work to locate the product.
Great video bro.
What a crazy fun night that was!
Wow. Wish I found this video 2 years ago. Been full time since then and definitely learned some of this stuff the hard way.
What was the first 1000 miles like? I have the goosebox and am thinking of switching. The Gen y doesn't have the airbag and the goosebox goes to far forward of the ball so I can't add a fuel tank in the bed.
It was a little bouncy for the first 1k. But very much smoothed out. I’ve got over 25k miles on it now and still love it with no plans to go back to a regular hitch.
mr!lik it. incredible . do you want more subscribers?!farewell-
Great video!
