The looks so delicious. Also, every since my husband said he enjoys music like what's playing, I've started playing it more. I was going to ask him to make breakfast this morning. I like his French toast. But I'll go ahead and do it. And play music like this. Thank you. Happy spouse. Happy house.

Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie YIELD: ONE 10" SKILLET COOKIE Bake this giant cookie while you're eating dinner, then enjoy a gooey, soft, and chewy slice with vanilla ice cream for dessert. INGREDIENTS 1 cup (213g) dark brown sugar packed 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar 8 tablespoons (113g) unsalted butter, melted 1 large egg, at room temperature 1 large egg yolk, at room temperature 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract 1¼ cups (150g) Unbleached All-Purpose Flour 1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon baking powder 1 cup (170g) Chiptastic Chocolate Chip Blend INSTRUCTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350°F with rack in center position. 2. In a large bowl or stand mixer fitted with the flat beater, combine sugars and melted butter until well mixed. Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Mix to combine. 3. Add flour, salt, and baking powder and stir until almost combined. A few streaks of flour are OK. 4. Add chocolate chips and stir until no flour streaks remain. 5. Transfer dough to a well-seasoned 10¼" Field No.8 Skillet. Spread into an even layer. 6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until evenly golden brown on top and pulling away slightly from sides of skillet. 7. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before serving directly from skillet.

Looks delicious. I also use my Staub cookware to make a ragù sauce ("Spaghetti bolognese"). I just wonder why you make the effort to prepare the tomatoes and the meat separately. I simply start off with the meat and then add the tomatoes, let it simmer for 2 - 3 hours, done. (I also add 2 small diced carrots and some diced celery but no mushrooms). I suggest to replace the Spaghetti with Linuine as they absorb the sauce better.

Awesome video Luis. Thank you for your content. I like how glossy black your smithy is. Have you made a video on the seasoning process you use to get it that gloss black or do you simply just cook a ton with it or both? Thanks!

I have a ton of cast iron and a few carbon steel skillets. The carbon steel skillets are all artisan skillets from Stagecoach Foundry, Blu and Copper State Forge. As soon as my kitchen renovation is complete I will season and start using my carbon steel skillets. I also have a hand-hammered carbon steel Chinese wok.

The Finex factory is on our bucket list I will own one soon my theory is you get what you pay for. Yes I can make a meal for a King in my Lodge pans or my 100 year old cold handle pans but I want to see what a Finex pan is all about. My theory is the same for guns as well as a cast iron pan just because you buy a 1,000 yd rifle don't make you a 1,000 yd shooter. Success is only backed with experience. Also their wasn't any grease on the pan under the egg rookie mistake but that is how we learn. Great presentation on your video. Thank You

Did having the skillet seasoned 18 times from the factory make a noticeable difference cooking wise compared to their regular skillets that are seasoned once?
