Easy 3D Aquarium Background
I never tested it but a known UA-camr uses this spray foam in his paludariums.
I hope you find this information useful.
Spray foam used: Great Stuff Pond & Stone
Wait at least 24 hours to let the foam cure before doing anything to it. You can also wait about 10-15 minutes and flatted areas down (with gloves on) to get a desired shape but will still need to 24 hours.

I assume you’ve notice a decline in the amount of videos I’ve been uploading and their quality. It’s because I’ve been putting off this video for months. I wanted to do it earlier but I was still very upset and with everything going on in today’s world I didn’t want to add to the sadness. But there’s always going to be upsetting things in this world so I just wanted to update everyone. I am dis...

Father’s Day Gift | Marimo Moss Ball Setup & Care
Переглядів 2704 роки тому
All materials came from Lake Erie (rocks, shells, and drift wood); used slate. Back then a ‘marimo video’ was going to be my first UA-cam video since I did a lot of research when I got mine. They are actually a type of algae. A story in Japan has made them a symbol of love which is why I thought it would be a good gift for Father’s Day. 🦠 Marimo moss ball: The best way to care for a plant is to...
What happened to my 55 gallon aquarium ?
Переглядів 994 роки тому
Yep yep I sold almost all my fish and plants. When re-homing Sheen (betta) I made sure the owner had at least a 10g for her because she loved swimming around. The cherry barbs and ‘pepper corys’ went to a lady with a large tank. And the Otocinclus and 1 tiger Nerite snail went to a lady who’s had fish ... I think 10 years .. anyways way longer than me. Then I sold plants here and there. 🔔 Consi...

Sorry, for the delay. I’ve actually had this footage since February and was going to be ready on my ‘1 year anniversary’ on UA-cam. My Favorite HousePlant & Update On Fittonia Terrarium
Переглядів 1254 роки тому
This stupid video took forever and it still looks like crap. I had to use two editors because the one I liked (with some good edits) could not handle the amount of edits I made to the video. So I cropped it down with one and added the finishing touches with the other which caused the video to loose its quality. I’m thinking next time I’ll try to type up a script or rehearse what to say since I ...
Winterizing Plant Room Part 3 | Treating Houseplants
Переглядів 1754 роки тому
I forgot to take the editing software logo off and I accidentally deleted all the footage before watching the video before noticing. Since it is said that infestations are more common in the winter because many of the common pests like the more dry air. It‘s best to treat everything if you potentially have anything that could spiral out of control. Also a cleaning of the leaves is in order for ...

How hot and long did you cook the dirt for?
@@kama3530 I've more recently been microwaving small batches of soil for a free minutes or 400F in the oven for 10 minutes
the porblem here is that the sand does not cover the all the foam so if u use white foam its gonna look so bad... right?
great job
Very cute
He probably almost an adult now though so lol
Just telling you it will be a nightmare finding that little guy in such A large tank
Bro got rid of the fish because the toad died? Makes no sense
😅
It;s a beautiful set up, perfect for a baby toad. Mine guy is 4 inches I have learned that toads need 4-5 inches of dirt/substrate because they like to burrow. Mine really hides sometimes. I just got him a 3 ft x 2 ft terrarium and your video has given me some ideas. He needs more play room! 🥰
No issues w the weight of the tank on a table likee that?
I feed mine lil crickets
Can you give the link of the foam you used. Where can i buy?
Hermoso! Lo haré 😊
Awesome setup! I would make the setup larger as the toad grows tho.
What kind of vitamins do they need? Is regular calcium dust not enough?
What do you feed them as soon as they come out of the water when they’re really tiny? I tried flightless fruit flies but they just hop away from them
Try springtails
One of my toadet can't catch his food and other one eat all off the food what can i do
I know I am quite a bit late, but the easiest solution would be to separate them during feeding. I always took my small toadlets out to eat in a small plastic dish so their food stays close and don't escape. When there is a case of one or more toadlets eating food faster than the others, just feed them separately.
@@cattfishing Right. I have 2 babies. One I call Pacman, the other I call Doofy. you can probably guess which one is fast and a good hunter lol
What soil mixes did you use?
Beautiful
dont be shy put some shrimp and otto in there. a few bucep will be nice too
Pls can i take mollies with shrimp wtih guppy in one tank
Yes but the guppies and mollies could eat baby shrimp (or small shrimp) so make sure there’s a lot of decorations or plants for them to hide.
@@LittleBlueOctopus my tank is plan plante but the shrimp comes out sometimes Then he goes back to the bunkers me i want to see mollied and guppy can eat adults shrimp or no and in a planted tank can i get spitted black mollies with guppys and 6 yellow shrimp
@@LittleBlueOctopus thank you very much
Dog is like what's going on? Love it 😀
This is a great idea!!
Where did you get the toad from?
Nice set up. I have the same frog lol I found him today in one of my houseplants that I bought from the nursery, (over a month ago). Little guy has been hiding out until I watered my plant for the first time since buying it. He jumped out and scared the living crap out of me. Lol Thanks again for the video as it was very informative and helpful. Jesus loves you dear! ❤️John 3:16❤️
And the pause/dump that refreshes.............all kidding aside, I'm amazed at the size of those frog/toad turds vis a vis the size of said amphibian.
When they are toadlets do u need any lightning? And what insects can I feed my baby toad?
I’ve been told yes and no I’m special lighting, like UVB, for frogs/toads. The easiest solution is put their enclosure next to a window (add a grow light if there’s plants inside that aren’t getting enough light). I fed my toadlet fruit flys, small mealworms, pin head crickets, and other small insects. No beetles as can cause impaction.
@@LittleBlueOctopus Thanks so much for the info!
Good aquarium We have a two meter tank with about ninety White Cloud Mountain fish, loads of snails mixed species , corydoras, peppered cats,Julie eye catfish, albino corydoras and bronze corydoras
@littleblueoctopus what's the name of the foam and the netting you used. Also are those rocks anything special or just some rocks you got
‘Great stuff pond and stone’ I used pea gravel I got at a hardware store. I’d suggest ‘clay balls’ because water can drain faster.
Did you use regular or succulent soil?
I’d actually suggest succulent soil since you might over water
I dont know if you still read these Comments but can 2 or 3 Male toads be in a 5.5 gallon tank?
I wouldn’t suggest it. Mine was still very small at the time so that’s why I had it in a 5.5G. I know for one toad it’s at least a 20g long. I think you can have 3 in a 40g.
@@LittleBlueOctopus ok, thank you
I'm sorry about your loss, I hope your doing much better now and are still loving plants and animals. Take care of yourself c:
Beautiful. Reminds me of Senecio angulatus.
Okay, how did you handle the triangle-shaped sides at the top? Plastic sheets?
Would’ve helped if you told us what soil mix you were using!!!
Forgot to mention in the video that its in the description. Honestly a general potting soil would work.
Nice If i used that it would be for cave tetras ua-cam.com/video/HH8h96jXsyA/v-deo.html
Has it held up ok?
@DEAROTNUF in his defense you can barely hear her mumbling under the crap music
Very beautiful
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel mooie !
BRAVO!
The plants have grown in nicely since you set this tank up.
what kind of fish do you have in your 29 gallon fish tank and how many because i am looking to buy a 29 gallon and i need fish for it then
Hi! Looks like they have mollies, guppies and some corydoras. They did say that the tank was overstocked, so I don’t recommend getting this much fish. A group of some sort of tetra or endler would look very nice in a 29 gallon. Get a group of around 7-10 😊
I have an american toad and leopaed gecko in the same tank 75 gallons. Did u get that soil from outside cus if u did then no
Wtf? Please don’t keep 2 different species in the same tank, that is very bad and they could even kill eachother. They can get stressed and die too
You should definitely not keep these two species together! They have two completely different care needs. Leopard geckos need arid enclosures and American toads need a pretty humid aquarium. Definitely separate them immediately!
@@Avocetexotics Soo they are doing perfectly fine and they like each other they both have there side of the tank and I got a bearded dragon so I'm gonna use the 75 gallon for my beardie and I'm gonna have to separate them anyways also it says that american toads can have any humidity and temp I found the toad outside in Toledo
@@kayfe3485 they like eachother lol
@@Avocetexotics I think I got mixed up with a cane toad
Machine abhi Avadh baccha acche
Hi
Saurabh
I have a toad
How often do you need to clean it?
It would be very hard to clean with all the plants. I added springtails to help keep it clean when I had it.
Why putting the fish first while setting up?
I was draining the 29g, they were originally in, into the 55g. So I had to transfer them into the 55g; it was like 52% water change once the 55g was filled. I didn’t loose any and no one got sick.
I forgot to mention you should have plastic underneath, when foaming, for you don’t have foam sticking to the surface you’re working on 👍
