We rose up and defeated the measure and republicans have been in control ever since, and the state has prospered. We currently run a budget surplus of more than $2 billion. All that will change if democrats regain the stranglehold they held for 150+ years. Voter ID is required in TN and we don't do mail-in ballots, otherwise the democrats would have already regained control by cheating. You need to do a comparison between Florida and Tennessee. Also, in your calculations you need to take into consideration the higher sales taxes in Tennessee. Tennessee chose to implement a consumption tax instead of an income tax. Also, please don't encourage liberals from those 2 states to move to Tennessee. I saw firsthand what it did in NC.

You're the reason native Middle Tennesseans can't afford a home anymore because you and your whole neighborhood have moved here and now dedicate your time to getting all the other communists to make things even worse for people that are from here. Traffic has increased beyond belief because we have no infrastructure improvements since before you guys moved in, our home prices have over double since 2018 because you guys come from out of state with big equity and beat natives out of homes in the city that they grew up in. Yeah, Nashville has a good job market, but the average salary in the city is nowhere near sufficient for the cost of homes now. And how about the 2020 property tax increase of 34%? Were you guys even here yet or still under the rule of Gavin Newsom? Yeah, the more people that move here, the more our property taxes increase because services cost even more than the tax revenue transplants are bringing in. You have zero clue on how many local businesses were impacted by that increase, but Nashville doesn't care about local longtime business owners anymore. Just because home are cheaper for transplants, doesn't mean they're cheaper for us. Just because the taxes are less transplants, doesn't mean they're less for us. Just because the traffic is less for transplants, doesn't mean it's less for us. Because it is infinitely more painful and expensive because YOU moved here. I found this little community from mountain biking. Wilkins Branch bike park is just a stones throw down the road. The second I passed thru this town I just knew my gf would love it so we came back for my bday and spent the entire day here also staying in Franklin for the night. It was one of the best trips we ever had together. Will def be hitting the distillery next time. Amazing place everyone needs to see at least once and probably twice and more.

LOL We are considering moving to Tennessee from Seattle area. I am originally from NJ and spent many summers in Florida so I know too well what humid summers are all about as well as snowy winters. My husband and I are tired of long, cold rainy winters out here in WA state. I think TN fits what we want out of "retirement life". Still have another 5 more years. Great video!

$450,000 median home prices doesn’t sound that affordable to me. And I’m not young, long successful career, and also from California. How do young families afford this.

Tennessee sits right on the line of the north and south so we get all 4 seasons for sure . Middle Tennessee sees snow every year just usually it’s not a lot . Some winters it can snow 4-5 times with other winters Mabye only 1-2 times. Best time of the year here is probably September through April when it’s not hot, end of December to early March it can get really cold dipping into single digits in Jan-feb but mostly upper teens to low 30s.. it’s August 22 2022 right now and the nights are dipping into the 60s and if it rains Then the rest of the day will be around 72-75 which is nice 😊 fall is right around the corner 😊 nice video!
