You gotta put the sugar in the pot and cook it for at least 10 mins to thicken it and infuse
It was very infused, it was just bitter bc of the peels. There was no way around the bitterness

Once I create the recipe I will post it here! And it will just be a component in the drink. I wanted to add a buttery taste so I decided to fat wash the liquor with butter to get that. I have a corn flavored soda. And I’m trying to work with that to create corn bread.

The amount of alcohol that she had from that bitters is so extremely small.
The amount of bitters that you add to a drink is less than the amount in kombucha. Bitters are like extracts for drinks. They are alcohol based but it is not enough to give your drinks an alcohol level. :)
