Nikon should’ve stuck to mirrorless at the point they had perfected the V1! I think their main issue was, that they were too good for the day, outcompeting Nikons own cash-cows - the DSLRs of the day… they literally killed the wrong line at that time- they should’ve embraced mirrorless fully, and we would be so far ahead today with mirrorless!

Sir, Fantastic camera for use for professionals

The 70-300mm for a 2.7 crop factor camera is extraordinary. I wonder how good at 300mm (300x2.7=810mm 35mm equivalent) the stabilization for handheld shooting is? The compact super zoom cameras have much smaller image sensors in order to achieve huge focal lengths. The image sensor of Nikon 1 series is one inch and may look small in comparison with other mirrorless cameras. But if you compare it with super zoom compact cameras is much bigger. That is an advantage of Nikon CX image sensor few know. The 70-300 is a super telephoto lens even for full frame cameras. For the Nikon 1 series is a marvel of technology. The Nikon 1 Nikkor 32mm f/1.2 and the Nikon 1 Nikkor VR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 are both great. They cost each nearly 1000$ but have professional grade.
