A crappy little car that was my first car, lot’s of rust and one piston crack I repaired it and sold it 2 years later and bought an Alfa Romeo 1750 instead, boy that was an upgrade to a real solid car with outstanding performance. What a change.
Hi that looks like a GT6 engine in your mk 3, I have one also mine is a 1969 MK3 in jasmine which I restored 26 Years ago I also have a GT6 engine in mine. Enjoy every journey is an adventure Kev East Devon UK👍🇬🇧
I don't know about the MK3 but on the MK4 there be are also snap on connecters on the inside centre of the hood and at the rear fixing the hood to the frame.
I know this was probably a video for someone who was buying it, but I've been wanting a detailed video of how to do this for a while. Just bought myself a Spitfire and wasn't too sure about how the soft-top worked, good to know about the swing arms being closed when folding it up. So thanks for this!
