This was honestly one of my only complaints about Fury Road. They killed his interceptor in the first 15 minutes of the movie.

Did anyone else notice that Max never blinks during the shots of him driving in Mad Max?

The Interceptor is a proper character in the story. You literally hear it breathing. It's not Mel Gibson that makes your heart race, it's the car. You even mourn its loss.

He really looked out for motorcycles!! lol

I'm confused by this Millers timeline of mad max and happy feet, but something tells me that Happy Feet is set in a far future long after all humans and Max have perished.

Can't believe that he was only 28 years old when he did this movie. I think that actors back then were better than the actors are today. If you get a 28 year old from today, you'll see a 28 year old actor, back then, they just seemed to be more mature, and better, older.

Bikers are real tough until they're up against, you know, a car. Pretty sure even a Smart car could take out a bike gang by swerving lol. Mad Max was good at portraying biker gangs as the homosexual deviants they usually are.

Mad Max 1 best film out of all of them, I don't understand how people can think any different, film is badass more grounded

When the side exhaust & supercharger blower keeps changing but you pretend you dont see it bc all the Ford coupes the production used were cool! 😉🫣

It is almost not possible to drive a car with such a blower in Germany. So I got an V6 6:46 Holden turbo engine in my SAAB. Was not as bad.

you would think they would choose cars that were a little more economical to run for such distances covered in the Australian desert, why when fuel is scarce drive round in vehicles that do 3 miles to the gallon why not have cars that do 60??
