I HATE Akadama ... breaks down too much ... expensive!!!
Awesome orientation, simply awesome. I too love Premnas. I was given a cutting from Don Tony Jibaro Bonsai from Puerto Rico and I have learned so much from them. I also was given a hibiscus variegated. Can I graft a variegated and a normal green one? Again, thank you for such an informative video.
Great demo, great insights. Thank you!
nice work, brandon!
Thank you for the knowledge. I'm new to bonsai and have year old trident maple seedlings... How young can you start this technique? I was thinking of waiting a year (or two) till the trunk has enough diameter to it to accept a drill and tap for a small machine screw. Cutting small threads would probably be less harmful than using a wood screw is my novice thinking. Can I continue to develop trunk thickness with them mounted to a board if there is sufficient soil up top? Or should I hold off and work on the trunk first?
I want to make my own clay pots but my bonsais are on the bigger side. I looked into kilns and they are like 2000$ for the smallest ones. Cool video thanks
Dude I dig the licking finger technique when handling the duct sealer. A true pro. Also what is the name again? BALDauf?
MOST LIKELY THE BEST INFORMATIVE PRESENTATION ON SHOHIN I'VE EVER SEEN 👍👍👍👍👍🍀
you only want to wire or ziptie just above the roots to establish the nebari. That's why you ha e the gaps at the bottom in the nebari
Does the club have a copy of his presentation?
Great video really enjoyed it, sorry to say this but your plat is going to have to come off soon getting very thin on top xxxxxxx
Nice video. Ficus Aurea?

Good job sir..
Very interesting. Good explanation/discussion of a new-to-me style/technique. .The pictures from the big screen do not show at all well and may be discarded with no loss at all. Other than that, excellent.
Good job sir..
I wish I could get a tree like that!!!
You have great tropical trees up there in Canada!

If we wanted to know a bio of Vincent, or more info on his background where would you find that?
Wow this helped me so much thank you.
I've been noticing a wide variety of cedar elms in my yamadori zone and this perfectly explains why! Very interesting how each trees have a mom and a dad.
