The cuttlefish surprised me, I wasn’t paying full attention and thought a cat or child had gotten the remote! I need you to start all the projects we have in common as your fabric/floss choices always make me rethink mine!

I can relate to decision fatigue and sometimes feel pressure to stitch on things just for some progress on my WIPS. Your idea of a time-specific monogamous WIP is genius! I feel the EXACT same way with my aquarium piece! Idk if it's the fabric I'm not particularly fond of, but I just don't like the way my stitches r laying on it. And I refuse to start over cuz I've gotten too far already... so I'm pluggin on but it's currently in time out cuz it was making me so frustrated! 😭🤣

I think you accomplished alot in May. I know that overwelming feeling with stitching. I usually just choose a dozen of my wips to stitch for about 2 months and then reassess the next 2 months. Otherwise I am overwelmed by the amount of wips and I do seem to get finishes so I guess it works for me:) I do enjoy your unique projects.thanks for sharing.

You sound very professional, not nervous at all. I hope you can get your childhood stitching remade. I started stitching seriously in sixth grade, so very similar to you, but my first linen piece was in college, Celtic Christmas by Lavender and Lace. What high school and college did you go to? I went to boarding school for high school as well.

Thanks for explaining the name change. I loved how you talked about tomato self and the more ominous nightshades self. I couldn’t agree more that we should just stitch what calls to us and not worry about whether it will fit our decor or some perceived category into which we think we should fit. I’m a retired business professor but show me an anthropomorphized animal in cute clothes or a Jardin Prive pattern and I’m a goner. Where😂 did that come from? Have fun with your May plans. Mine are/were to start random things that I’ve kitted up, work on existing WIPs and just do whatever strikes my fancy! Pretty much my plan every month.

I can relate to your name change reasoning soooo much. It’s kinda like the meme where it’s a pink house next to a black house and the words say something like “both my personalities”. I often say I feel like a walking contradiction. Like what is my aesthetic, I don’t freaking know! I would say I’m more often Wednesday as well. With my name it was like oh it rhymes but like, how audacious is Cassidy really? 😂

I was going to spend the year not doing any SALs to work on previous years SALs. I'm currently in 3 new SALs, so that worked out well 🤔 I love all your projects, we do a lot of the same things. Thank you for telling us about your name change!

Your Mandrake Lady looks beautiful! Definitely feel you on all the SALs. I'm limiting myself, but it's hard. I struggled with whether to do 1 or 2 strands on 36 for Deadly Aquarium too, but I settled on 2. We'll see if I can keep up, lol. Can't wait to see your May progress. 😀

A very nice video…I had never seen cuttlefish and am fascinated so thank you. While you say you are nervous, your flow is very good and stitching is lovely. I am in my first year of being a flosstuber and know that it is a challenge to find your own way of doing this. I look forward to seeing more videos.
