اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مَا كَانَتِ الْحَيَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي وَتَوَفَّنِي إِذَا كَانَتِ الْوَفَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي Allahumma ahyinee ma kanatil-hayatu khairan li, wa tawaffani idha kanatil-wafatu khairan li. O Allah, keep me alive as long as You know that life is better for me, and make me die when death is better for me.

اللهُمَّ اجْعَل خَيْرَ عُمْرِي آخِرُهُ وَ خَيْرَ عَمَلِي خَوَاتِمَهُ وَ اجْعَلْ خَيْرَ أَيَّامِي يَوْمَ أَلْقَاكَ Allahumma-ja'al khaira 'umree akhirahu wa khaira 'amalee khawaatimahu waj-'al ayyami yawma alqaka O Allah, make the best part of my life, the last part, the best deed, my last deed and the best day, is the day I meet You.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul afwa fa'fu anni O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning, You love pardon, so pardon me.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ Alhamdulillah A'laa Kulli Haal "All praise and thanks are only for Allah in all circumstances

Start making dua by saying the following with understanding in your heart what you are saying... اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ، الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ، وَلَمْ يُولَدْ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ Allaahumma innee as-aluka bi annee ashhadu annaka ant-allaahu, laa ilaaha illaa ant, al-ahad us-samad, alladhee lam yalid wa lam yoolad, wa lam yakullahu kufuwan ahad. O Allah, indeed, I ask you by my testifying that You are Allah, there is none worthy of worship except You, the One, as-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need), the one who does not beget, nor was begotten, and there is none who is like Him.
