I am not happy with how this turned out. My voice is shaky and not really on pitch due to me being quite emotional. I guess it reflects how I am feeling at the moment.

Yet another cover but it's great practice for my voice and I can go back to many songs that became dear to me throughout the years. This one became special to me when I was reading Timo Tolkki's autobiography "Loneliness Of A Thousand Years" and learned about all the pain behind this song.

I would have loved to shoot a funny live performance video to go along with this cover but I have been ill for the past two weeks and drowning in work. I am trying to be more efficient at releasing songs. Also I'd love to become better at singing and finally start drumming again. Besides that, being more open and understanding towards others is a big goal but I feel like it's already starting to pay off.

Oh man I am really lost here. I've been listening to this as well as my other recordings back and forth. Sometimes I got the feeling that the vocals are quite good or at least I am getting somewhere. But then often times after mixing and tweaking for hours when listening to them again the vocals just sound like shit - thin, brittle and out of tune... 😖 A little feedback would be much appreciated but anyway, I am still too stubborn to give up. 😁
