There was much narrow-mindedness, ignorance and discrimination in this show and nothing subtle about it. If it weren't for Dr. Quinn and Sully to save the day, there would possibly be more deaths by gun shot or by hanging. (This would possibly lessen the population of Colorado Springs as well. Just a thought).

I typically do not have an interest in watching westerns. There have been very few exceptions and Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman was one of them.

What does Sully do in Colorado Springs? Whenever Dr. Mike is in need of help, Sully just happens to be there at that moment and saves the day, out of the blue. If he does any business in Colorado Springs, it seems to be with Robert E, sharpening Sully's bladed weapons.
