I think Ishidas comedy came out because of his interactiveness with his fans streaming and also writing/voicing a mini series called animal rap battles. Hes learning to take things more lightly after the near burnout of Tokyo Ghoul. Also Im excited to explore this world he created just because he sets up sp much intruiging mysteries like the masked guy, the tower in the middle of the city, the big choujin in (?) that tower and even the possibilities of where the mc can go since he starts of at a point where he has no dreams.
I think your right and it would be cool to see how Ishida will expand on the world of Choujin X, or even how the characters react to the changes.
