I seen a documentary about tower climbers. They historically haven’t had very good pay, they were “at one point” pretty much left to dictate their own safety protocols with very little oversight. I’m sure these days it’s different but the story I watched painted the big service providers as evil corporations that don’t care how many workers died to make them more money. And they are probably right.
