What a beautiful car.❤
I bought a 61 from the original owner Rustfree car, no dents Plenty of pantina
Beautiful car. Thanks for showing
I heard 30 thousands of investment...you selling at a loss??
You should quote only parts total, with not saying labor ...minus labor fees
Back when Jaguar made beautiful cars, not woke nightmares.
Y'all just put the word woke with anything huh
@startrader9503 only where it's obvious. Jaguar will regret that stupid advertisement they did with the pink fairy brigade.
@@warrenmurchie6599 Literally a right-wing description for anything you don't like lmao... Why will they regret it? Was it a bit gay for your liking? You should get a load of what those Greeks and Romans got up to you'd probably pull your hair out! Though you do seem old so I won't take it as too worrying or anything just par for the course...
@startrader9503 so you think it's perfectly normal behaviour do you. Yes I am a conservative. It is a superior viewpoint to those of the loony left who all think they are in someway special if they pretend to be genderless. If we all thought like you, the world would descend into chaos.
In 1974, my brother bought a TR-3, which came with a box: an extra 'racing transmission'(!). In 1975, whilst working a bad job traveling through California, on the same block where I met Bob "Watergate" Haldeman's brother, his neighbor was selling a Bug-eye Sprite for $600(!); low price because it needed a transmission. I tried to convince my brother to buy it and ship it back to Denver, but I couldn't convince him.
My customer had a brand new Porsche 911 Turbo and his original 1970 TR6 in his garage. He said which one do you want to drive? Well, there was no question, the TR6! My first car in 1971 was an older Triumph Spitfire to help you understand. I couldn't wipe the grin off my face the entire time. Great customer, RIP, and super fun car. Thanks for the memories Michael.
show room video ?
From your company’s website it looks like this beauty has been sold. Can you tell me what the sales price was? I am in the market for something similar.
Great cars, bought a new one in 1973, paid about $3900.00 for it
Mi spiegate perché non possiate montare il suo motore di 499’5 mentre c’è su un 5994????
Nice gearbox!
Fabulous! Reminds me of the fun and excitement of driving my Spitfire 1500 back in the early 80’s
I'm sure it will fetch top dollar from a rich person who needs another toy. I'm surprised there is no information about the auction.
Stunning looking car, but then everything is new!
Is it still available Michael ?
As a Brit living in the US, I do have a penchant for British cars. There doesn’t actually seem to be anything original left on this.
I've had three of these and my restorations were always lacking in one way, nobody reproduces a full set of rubber mats for the floors, transmission tunnel etc. it is better and more pratical than carpet - and it's how they were sold originally.
Such a cool car 😎❤
A cool car 😎👍
Great car! Restored in Holland? No thank you..... You don't send that car to Holland for restoration. You send it to Germany....
$10K all day long
IMHO realistically about $17-18,000 assuming the underside is as perfect as stated. The body fitment is terrible, driver’s door misaligned, hood fit is really bad and attention to it is being drawn away by the leather straps. The louvre on the hood detracts from the car and filling the rear deck holes with plugs, hmm what can I say. A very good driver but for $42k it should have a 5 spd. The cost to professionally have the body and paint brought up to show quality would probably be at least $15k.
@@brianbarney1885 It's a car to use, not for show, so the buyer might not want to make it into something he'd be afraid to use. I think it will easily fetch $20k or more.
Previous seller states the car was titled as a Beck, You state the car is titled as a Porsche 356. Which is it?
Very nice frog-eye! Mine (in 2004) was a mundane silver 1964 MG Midget 1100cc with wire wheels. It did have wind up windows and an Aircon unit. But water dripped into the passenger well during rainstorms. Frog eyes are the best!
A beautiful example.
Anyone know where the previous owner got that pad for the drivers head? That's a great idea. I'd like to add that to my 58.
Nice! and i agree the color is different from the normal but beautiful on this classic 👌
I always remember my late Uncle taking me for a ride in one in 1985. "This is how you know your in a well engineered car", he said. From a standing start he floored it to 60mph very quickly, and then hit the brakes. Car stopped fast and in a straight line. Fabulous. Shame about the cr@p 70's steel BMW used.
No view of the exterior of this car? Crappy video!
3 on the tree shifting ...
Yeah .... Should have used leather instead of plastic as it shows up the quality of the inside .... The later CSi's (E24's) are much better as they had electronic ignition, Bosch Jetronic Fuel Injection and wood/leather throughout.
Enjoy your vids but do you have to call vinyl "leatherette"?
2:03 How is it titled as a 1965 Porsche if it’s actually a replica?
why did you make a porsche a subaru ? unbelievable .
My I ask how much fuel it use?
Jaguar just committed financial suicide with "that" commercial. This automotive company will have financial problems as a result. Jaguar should head the Warning of Budweiser and the Billion dollar disaster that followed. Stick to Cars Jaguar ,and try producing a decent electrical system.
Jaguar isn't Jaguar any longer!
Nice🎉
I'd love to own that model Jag. Unfortunately, I would like to drive it and every time I would put it on the road, I'd get nervous. I would worry someone might clobber me and also, with every little unusual noise, I'd get a jolt of anxiety.
beautiful survivor
My first car...1961 TR-3...Joe Feegee sold it to me...brand new...If I went for a 30 minute drive, I would collect the loose nuts and bolts from the floor...My sister drove it while I was on a trip with Charli Kallfelts, Chuck Roellig and Frank Short...She crashed it...Had it for 3 years until it was stolen from the GE parking lot at 32nd & Chestnut Sts...often wondered where it wound up..
Hi Michael, are the luggage compartment chrome runners for the floor missing ?
One more thing. I designed the steering wheel and shift knob out of teak and ebony, They were made by Mike Lempert, a neighbor of mine (look up Lempert Wheels), with my help. The aluminum center is 3/16" rather than the usual 1/8", which adds to a very solid feel. I really enjoyed adding the personal touch.
I had the car about 18 months until the realization that age, height, and back issues made it not a great long-term fit. I hope the next owner keeps it for years and enjoys it as much as I did. It really is a special car.
6’3” likely too tall? I drove manual 1st gen Caymans with no issue, but definitely had the seat as far back as it would go.
I spec'd the car with sticky tires, upgraded brakes, roll bar, headrests, and 4-point harnesses with the expectation that I'd take it to the track, but life got in the way and I never got it there. It was great fun in the NC mountains, though. It is truly a race car in a nice suit and an absolute blast to drive.
was it titled as a beck or porsche?
As the original owner and the one who spec'd this car out, I thought I'd provide some background. This is, in fact, the third car started and the second car finished, being the last pre-productions prototype used to determine how to build the various systems of the car. This resulted in some post completion upgrades to productions spec by Beck and myself. As there seems to be a length limit here, I'll continue in another post.
nice
There’s a separate walk around video explaining pretty much everything. Check out Michael’s channel. ua-cam.com/video/4oNPwU_VC5Q/v-deo.htmlsi=Bhritb5hn2gqRrqP
This car was a taxi in Kuwait 🇰🇼 in 1976😂
Was that after Henry Kissinger made the Sand People Wealthy.😂
Rick James likes to double clutch.
We're all going to get rich selling collector cars to each other.
