Long John Baldry - Walk me out in the morning dew
Still here 11 28 25 Thanksgiving.🎉
Love it..
Stenders ... Bedankt ❤
Saw him play live twice.... Edmonton in 1974 or 75 and again in Oakville in 1978. Excellent live performance and his female backup singer, Kathi MacDonald was incredible.
Doesn't DOESN'T get much BETTER than THIS
I love Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart's version of this on the truth album check it out if you don't know
Brilliant
How about you can't say boogie woogie to the king of rock and roll
goeie plaat
On which album can I find this version? It's not on Spotify 😢
It’s on his self titled album, Long John Baldry released 1980. Sadly the album isn’t available on CD or on Spotify. A great shame. There are several great LJB albums that are only available on vinyl.
@ thanks, that's a shame.
2024 Just rediscovered this after nany years I'm a bit adducted to it now with lots of replays!
I remember Jerry Garcia doing a cover of this one....
Long John R.i.P.!!!!
Man man wat een heerlijk nummer
WOW, Just discovered this today 😄
That piano up front ... wow.
Thank you UA-cam and LJB for bringing me this phenomenal song!
It sounds like Joni Mitchell in the intro. Beautiful, my boy...
Absolutely the best rendition of this classic ever recorded. The guitar solo is beyond fantastic.
Yes, all youse Taylor Swift fans ... there was once an age of real music. People playing real music. No digital manipulation or autotune. Just raw unadultered music, composed, sung and played by humans. Not perfect but personal.
Top.
wonderful track - i have it on loop
The memories lost in music, until you hear them again 👍. Thx. 🙏
Piano intro. Wauw
Great!!! A very powerfull cover of this song!! I can listen to this over and over again!!
This is ahead of its time even if it happens in the future.
LOVE THIS SONG!
Still here...survived the 60s ❤😎
Exellent and best version of this song love long John baldy brilliant voice very underrated
Doubtful. Ive heard of him without trying, looking.
PINGAS
Thunder
Sorry Lulu's voice and is so much better. Long John if he didn't scream would have made me change my opinion but Baldry doesn't have Lulu's range. I professionally collect vinyl and when Lulu's sings I cry. Long John doesn't.
You are musically challenged, so much is clear!!
Yes you missed because you did not know the roots of rock and british blues rock...Master english singer of the 60's. I found this LP for 1.99 sale... Around the late 80's. One of my favorite albums also have a great great Love me two times version. Long John Baldry a Maestro singer. 🎉
I own the vinyl LP and I Really love it. Wow long john baldry talent and voice 🎉

I have always liked Long John Baldry listening here he is brilliant andvery underrated I don't understand why Love you Long John Baldry Love Nige x
"underrated" is an overused word. Cannot know whether someone is that without taking a worldwide poll.
Good is good boogie woogie
I saw him in grand rapids in 1971. He was the warmup band for some flash in the pan group. I hadn't heard of him before. He was WAY better than the group I went to see.
Always loved long John baldry.
Why can’t we find this version not on spotify/tidal? Best version of all!
This version is by far my favourite and personally relevant. As it relates to the time when I had the difficult task of informing my two young sons (4&6) their mother (36) had died of Cancer. Planning to use LJB's "FLYING" at my Funeral.
Did he sing 'no regrets'?
👍 😎
It's Summer, 1972 and LJB's first, seductive album graces the turntable of a young man crying recently returned from combat in Vietnam. This is truly an anthem of those sad days.
