First of all, as others have written, the first point is the "forgetfulness" of the first two games. Some vivid elements appear, but the whole world is set up as if there were no culture or social organization other than bandits and dirty homeless people - not even in the city where our protagonist first appears. NCR portraited as raiders, gigaLOL! If the goal was to portray the Brotherhood as a bunch of militant idiots, then they succeeded. They're looking for table grills as artifacts hundreds of years after the Great War, lol. These aren't knights, they're a bunch of jerks. The Fallout world isn't like this. This series has been Bethesda-fied, bringing the same weird reinterpretations as in the Bethesda Fallout games were. If I'm completely honest, I either wanted to see a coherent Brotherhood of Steel storyline, or a character development from the perspective of a simple vault dweller, experiencing what it's like to emerge into such a world. But the viewer learns nothing about the characters or the current world setup, lore, even though the series takes place after every game, yet the wasteland has never been so empty and lifeless. Scenes jump between green fields and vast deserts, and the only survival factor in the whole series seems to be not making a campfire at night and mutant bears are not toys. :D In many ways, I think the approach is so bad that even though the fanboy in me is jumping, my rational side is shaking its head.

This just happens when fans think they are supposed to be a majority demographic on shows like these. Sometimes lore needs to be fleshed out and fixed. Especially when its a first season and you're trying to create a world that has non game players.

Yeah I think we are in a Netflix era. Even with great source material they fuck up everything. The power armor is weak Af. The knights are idiots. All the FEMALES are bad ass of course!! Same trope.

first of let me say i love fallout done so for a looong time, and i kinda liked the show. did ring some alarm bells but they can be explained somehow and some way- is this show game of thrones good hell no. but its better imo than the halo show sigh.. its not a 10/10 but not even close to 1/10 does however seem like they want the "original" lore to die. but civilizations do fall and new ones rise up. 1st one ... did i watch a diferent show...? enclave and deathclaws? i never saw any of those. i did however see (last sceene) that made my heart skip 2nd one. fair enough.. i guess wierd 1 of 10 rating 3rd.. what? 4th.. hmm rubish but hmmm dont agree 5th..deffo got burned on the release of FO76 lol last words of creator.. - i dont agree with hes words of they all have passion. not what im seeing in what they said. kinda agree with the drug ghoul thing but we already have canon where different things happen at different locations, we see different mutationsin / monsters in different games and this show is after fo4 so new stuff will be invented. plot might thicken. SS fate is sad tho..

Aye it is shite,smell that Fallout shite a mile a way,it lost its plot when it came to the lore again,should have been a new starter path instead of wiping out the whole west coast lore,and it was on the message with its agenda driven drivel but that was the end of it for me.

That first one is not a bad review. The damn finale of the show literally says recently off screen the lore of fallout 1 and 2 doesn't matter at all as its all been wiped away. They didn't wanna translate literally any of it so they just got rid of all of it in this "continuation". Fucking actually ruined all the west coast lore.

It's a shame with all these IP laws and stuff. Good luck doing it on your own time :)
