How you can improve Blenders compositor
A smaller video regarding the Background feature in the compositing workspace in Blender, and how you can set up yours to have two separate preview windows instead, similar to what is used in Fusion or Nuke.

A complete tutorial on ML-assisted rotoscoping in Blender with RotoForge 1.0.1
Переглядів 5452 місяці тому
This is the long-awaited full tutorial all about rotoscoping in Blender with my addon RotoForge. It covers literally every detail that could be relevant to you, unfortunately because of that it's also gotten pretty long. That's why I added timestamps: 00:00 Intro 00:26 Requirements and compatibility 01:22 Installation 06:46 A rundown of Blenders editor 09:19 What do splines do? 12:40 How the Ro...
Automated rotoscoping in Blender: RotoForge 1.0.0 showcase

This is RotoForge, my ML-assisted rotoscoping addon for blender! It generates bitmasks based on simple prompts, both for images and videos. Also it's got object tracking, real-time mask overlay and multi-mask support. If you're an indie vfx artist and need to do a complex mask on a video, but you didn't want to buy professional tools, now you don't need to. It's really nice to have for quick ro...
genuinely helps a lot, thanks
Proud of what you’ve been able to accomplish at just 17 years of age. Nice one bro 👍
So inspiring, mind blown once again!
Does this not work with amd?
@@NTESTUDIO As of right now, it's not supported, no.
@@MagnumVD_ thank you so much for the reply, I currently have a 7900xtx so if RotoForge is ever able to use HIP Gpus I will be there for it!!! You’re a genius by the way, I’m currently releasing a few addons as well and have lots of respect for your work!
@@NTESTUDIO Thanks for the kind words. I am working on getting AMD Rocm 6.1 going for the next update, but I need a way to know your graphics card and os before I install it. Even then, it would only work on linux because pytorch doesn't support other OSs yet. Most people often forget that there's a cpu fallback though, which of course isn't the fastest but can still get the job done.
@@MagnumVD_thanks for all the great information! And if I’ll running AMD but would like to try RotoForge, how do I use the CPU fallback by default?
@@NTESTUDIO It'll be using the cpu automatically when it can't find a suitable gpu. So you don't have to do anything
Will it work with ARC Cards?
Generally CUDA is proprietary and only available for Nvidia hardware. However there's an open-source project called Zluda, which aims to improve CUDA compatibility with other gpu manufacturers: github.com/vosen/ZLUDA I'm not sure if they support arc cards or the cuda features pytorch uses yet, but it is still actively developed and maintained. If not, the CPU fallback should still give you managable speeds if you stay with the lower models.
hotfix is broken too
@@evilkoolade Already got a second one out
i can't believe no one is showing this off ian hubert talked about it but there are no tutorials it strange) it would certainly help to have those i also do not have a panel I've checked every workspace
A tut is in the works, I think I'll be able tu upload it in a few days. For now, you can find a small installation tut with some tips and tricks on the github in the README:md: github.com/MagnumVD/RotoForge-AI
Give me link or make video how to download and install pls help❤❤❤
The link is in the description, but without the "" since this channel is quite new. Here you go: ko-fi.com/s/5025cf0a06
this is incredible! Excited to try it out!
I'm really looking forward to seeing what this can do! I installed it and right off the bat, it looks to have a different UI than what this video shows (I'm guessing it's been updated since this release), with no big friendly button at the top. I eventually figured out that in order to get anything, I had to click the track forward button, and it started to do create an ai roto, but when I hit escape to cancel (because I couldn't see any other way to stop the process), it gave me an error, and then the track forward button never worked again. So it looks like it still has some issues, but I'm hoping it gets to be useable really soon! If I'm just an idiot and was doing everything wrong, please let me know!
Hi, yes, the UI has been updated a bit since then because video tracking was introduced. You can find a tutorial with all the information you need on the github. If that still doesn't fix your problem, please create an issue on the GitHub with your pc specs and a screenshot of the error and I'll take a look at it. github.com/MagnumVD/RotoForge-AI/
Tried it in Blender 4.1.1 Installed addon (including 8GB) OK, but no sidebar "rotoforge" tab appears, even when masking. Any ideas on how to fix?
Could you please create an issue on the GitHub with your pc specs and a log file? github.com/MagnumVD/RotoForge-AI/
Maybe he's in the movie clip editor instead of the image editor
Same issue, nothing in the sidebar
Blender 4.1 would not load even though all the files had downlaoded
Wow, what!? This is impressive stuff
